I'd take him to the vets and have him 'done'. You might even get it done at the RSPCA/other charity perhaps, don't know
It's quick and the irresponsible owners wont even know
What would happen if someone just took your child to the doctors to have something done to them? You would have ZERO knowledge of that cats history, they could have any health need, illness etc.
If someone actually took my pet ANYWHERE Without my prior consent, I would be seeing how i could secure a criminal conviction and would stop at nothing until it was achieved.
Irresponsible advice. Idiocy. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hi
Move to Calgary, and become a cat wrangler.
This is how it should be.

Calgary is in Canada by the way.

1) Trouble with unneutered animals is if the owner can't be bothered to get it neutered they usually can't be bothered to have it vaccinated or wormed regularly etc. So you run the risk of your cat catching anything and everything and possible health risks to children.
2) A brief dunk in water (up to the neck only) is a marvellous deterrent when all else has failed. We've used it on our own cats in the past when there has been severe behaviour problems - and it worked. And before anyone howls animal cruelty we've had several cats over the years and they have ALL lived to a ripe old age (16 to 21 years) INCLUDING THE BAPTISED ONES!0 -
Nothing wrong with the bath trick as long as you drop him in, stand well back and give him a clear exit out of the house!!!!!!!!!If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

I'm sorry but there must be a better way, cat may be neutered, who knows, if anyone dunked my cat in a cold bath I would be livid and litigious0 -

And presumably you would also be happy to pay for the damage to their home from your cat peeing everywhere?
If you want the responsibility from the victim you have a responsibility TO them, too.If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

I'm sorry, but if someone's cat was coming in and out of my house and p1ssing all over my children's beds and whatever else it is doing, I would definitely do the water trick.
But it wouldn't be in the bath. It would be in the dock.dolce vita's stock reply templates
#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided
#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now
#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing0 -

No. I'm a realist. Are you going to stop all cat fights and disease too?
Cat pees in my house, cat gets punished. I'd far rather dunk it once and give it a relatively painless but wet lesson than get so wound up cleaning up after the little beggar for months and then wring its neck. That WOULD be cruel. If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.
