judi it sounds like the Book People would be ideal for your presents. They have some great childrens books at really cheap prices, DS is 12 and I have found some great ones there for him.
QueenB I know exactly how you feel, I've had the same problem this holiday, I resorted to finding some sales on the internet and have had two boxes delivered so far. I will nip in the first day they go back and hope I haven't missed all the bargainsOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

To decorate and label a few baskets that I'm making up I've brought some baubles in the woolworths sale. (16 for 50p)
I've sat the basket on cellophene (my local office suppliers sell it cheap), gathered at the top and tied with curling ribbon with a bauble threaded through. On the bauble I have written who it is to and who from.
Its finished it off a treat making it look quite proffesional!!0 -

Ah well, have to hope the things are still there next week0 -

I bought OH a fantastic gift today - "007 Scene it" for £12.50 from the Roy Castle Foundation shop
Priced at £44.99 on Amazon ( here ), I've even seen it priced at £49.99. I am so CHUFFED :j:j There is no way on earth I could have afforded it otherwise PLUS it was still sealed in the original plastic so I know it's brand new :xmassign::snow_grin:santa2::dance: I can just see us all at New Year when we're at his parents sitting around trying to play it :rotfl: (without DD, it's rated 15

Two more pressies of the list:
Got my Avon delivery today, making for my sil a beauty hamper:
Planet Spa Cream & Shower Gel plus they threw in a free kimono - cost of present £6 pounds
Lavender Linen Spray, will be part of a relaxation hamper for a very close friend, which will include a CD with relaxing music (made myself with nice label), a candle (homemade) and some bath salts (home made).
Hurray!0 -
I used to do Avon and have loads of free samples and other goodies that i got very cheap as a rep so i will be using alot of those to make up baskets.
I am hoping to have all presents brought and wrapped by the end of October, and all HM presents finished by the end of Nov.
To make sure i reach these deadlines i have decided to spend some time each day, even if only half an hour, to do something on my christmas list.
Trying to talk OH into going to a carboot sale this sunday just to see if i can find a bargain or two:DSuccess means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash
