I can't understand what I've done wrong. I said in the office earlier it's time I started thinking about Christmas and they jumped on me as if I'd gone mad:confused:

Strange people, make Christmas every day!

I have my first gift planned. I was given a £1 off voucher for nivea for doing Race for Life, so I'm going to get Mum something to do with Nivea as one of her prezzies

Great thread, I wish I had found this last year. Realised now I'm not at all prepared.

A big thank you to Pavlov's Dog for all the links and the great ideas you posted, I have saved most if not all under my favourites to go through later.

I’m saving my vouchers from pigsback and surveys to put them towards xmas presents but that's all I've done so far :)

I got my first Xmas present for this years box on friday (well first present that isn't something recycled from my unwanted pressies from last year :rotfl:)

A pretty little green beaded necklace in Boots for 70p reduced from £7.50!!!!!!! Now to decide which of my friends/family deserves it....
  • I've been saving since January for Christmas but this thread has just reminded me to start knitting the beautiful Advent calendar from Simply Knitting magazine in time for Christmas 2006. Also need to start making the cross stitch cards for SIl and my brother and his family. Oh and to find the Chiristmas stockings for my 2 DD's and start filling them. Oh have I left it too late?

I'm buying my first two Xmas presents tomorrow. :D Toyworld is having a good sale atm. Buying a big leggo box $30 - usually $65, & a banana in pjama's toy with dvd $10 - usually $40 for DGS. That's him sorted out. ;)
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • I think I might start knitting some scarves for presents  not a bad idea methinks!!
