I have bought all my niece, nephews, god children's birthday, christmas and easter presents for this year.
Also some for my daughter.
I have £12.50 saved on Nectar for Sainsbury's food shopping at Xmas.
And I am saving in daughter's piggy bank for her christmas and birthday (both in Dec!) so far we have put odd change in etc and have about £17, but I am going to start putting in £20 a month and back date it to Jan.
That just leaves a couple of adult's presents as we only buy for the children in my family and my husbands parents.
I will have a look at all the old posts for some more inspiration.
I am new to the message boards though and could spend all day on here catching up on all the fabulous posts !!!0 -
We save up our Nectar points for Easter and Christmas, its amazing how quickly they add up.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

I have a whole cupboard full of presents although some of those will be dished out for birthdays too. £54 so far in Tesco vouchers with another £30 to come in May. I am concentrating more on actual presents rather than saving money because I just know that the money would get used up on something else but whenever I am spotting a real bargain away it goes into my dark little cupboardOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

I've got all neices and nephews presents (got them in the sales), got all my paper and cards and have £175 in my "christmas" ing savings account so far.
Nice to see this thread back - will get organised and aim to make something HM each month to go in the baskets I want to do for my parents/inlaws.
I don't tend to spend much more on food than I normally do each week so never set aside extra for that. I'm aiming to do it all for £200 this year, any extra in the savings accounts will get used to stock up in the sales for the following year."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. I've still got £80 leftover from last Xmas' budget torwards pressies plus about £20 in tesco & nectar vouchers torwards food & supermarket pressies. I have most of the odd pressies, just Mum, Dad & Hubby left to buy for now.
Birthdays I tend to buy for as they come up as most of them are fairly well spaced through out the year so the monthly budget can accomodate them. Of course, this doesn't stop me buying in advane if I see a sutiable bargain!:rolleyes:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Unfortunately I get three birthdays in April, DD's in June, 5 in August and 2 in November. DD's is already bought, I got the Barbie WOW set when it was on sale in January for less than half price and a remote controlled pink Smart carOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Well this year I'd love to be organised too
My problem is that we might be spending christmas here, in Scotland or in Denmark... And well with luggage allowance heading the way it is then I need to be more aware than ever before about weight and size of things (now if only my relatives were that considerate! Last time I got huge heavy books which although nice were uhmmmm unpractical...) So I will start saving up now, money aside for a meat hamper for me (well I want an organic one this year! and it won't come cheap
) and money for pressies. Also need to consider the OHs family and pressies for them *sigh* and friends etc... Oh and of course my cats... I'll never be forgiven if I forget them :S
I will carry on saving my Boots points and nectar I think. My tesco vouchers I havent decided on what to exchange for yet... dry cleaning WOULD be handybut not very helpful for x-mas... I might start looking at some fo the gifts I can make myself... have huge x-mas book full of ideas for gifts so should really have a look

tine one way you could use your clubcard vouchers for presents and still get the 'deals' out of them is to buy magazine subscriptions as presents.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
