Fascinating
- I think there are other mentions in the Christmas Support thread and it would be a good idea to merge this one to join it.

Last year I wrote a letter from Santa to DD and just left it sitting on the coffee table with some gold glitter scattered around and on it. I put a little elf sticker in the top right hand corner of the envelope as a stamp and she loved it! I told her the glitter was fairy dust from the Christmas Fairy. The Christmas fairy is kind of like the tooth fairy in that only mummy's and daddy's can see her BUT she come every night from October 1st to check on DD's behaviour. Sometimes if DD has been really good, she gets a pressie on the 12th December from the Christmas Fairy - usually PJs or bedding - that is then kept until Christmas Eve so they are new for Santa.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

If you get your son to write his letter and post it to whatever address he thinks Father Christmas lives at, you usually get a reply back as a free service from the Royal Mail. I have done this for the last 6 or 7 years with my kids.:snow_laug HM Christmas 2010

Quoted from Royal MailRoyal Mail usually receives the first letter to Santa as early as July, but to ensure that letters to Santa arrive in time for him to reply before Christmas, the nation’s young letter writers should remember to put a stamp on the envelope and include their own address on the back and post their letters by Friday 13 December 2002 to Santa’s special address at: Santa Claus, REINDEERLAND, SAN TA1.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
