Could someone please tell me whereabouts Dacorum is, and perhaps surrounding areas, at least then I can try to do some research for homes etc for MOT.

Main area is Hemel Hempstead, though Dacorum also includes Berkhamstead and Tring.
MoTs twins are changing school in September and will hopefully be allocated the St Albans school that MoT named first choice, so St Albans would also be good, though I think St Albans is expensive. (Actually Hertfordshire is expensive full stop.)
Ampersand and MoT were checking the HB situation, but as a rough guide I would expect full HB to be in the region of £800! I know this might shock readers in other areas but that is the situation for housing in this area.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
