So have I
MOT - if you're still up to reading all of this - I'm glad that you seem to be coping so well with such a terrible situation. Your children sound wonderful - made me choke up when I read their posts. What a wonderful person you must be to have such lovely children.
Take care

Hi MOT
I’m a long-term reader of your thread, but have never yet contributed. As with many other MSE-rs I have read your story with increasing horror and disgust (!!!!!! is that council on?!?), but it is abundantly clear that you truly are an amazing woman with great friends and family, and you will come through this.
Through a quick internet search I have found a list of registered social landlords (RSLs) in the Dacorum area. I’m not sure how you access their homes (hopefully not through that despicable council) but between them they have 2,406 homes to rent in the Dacorum area. I wonder if it might be worth contacting any of them direct to see if they can be of assistance? Many of them are charities, and with any luck, more approachable and helpful than the council.

As with most other readers of your thread I would be more than happy to help in any way I can and will be contacting Pania to see what’s been arranged...
Wishing you and the twins the very best of luck in the coming year.

I am a single mum of 2 on benefits so don't feel I am in a position to contribute financially, however I would really like to help the "MOT Campaign" in some way!
I wondered if anyone on here also uses social bookmarking sites? I'm just thinking that if everyone that does use them, bookmarks/adds this thread, it will help it reach a wider audience (if this is OK with MOT of course).
I personally use stumbleupon so I could 'stumble' this thread, then anyone that visits my stumbleupon page will see it. I'm not sure if this is useful or not?Essentially it's just a bit of publicity but if everyone does similar then it becomes viral marketing and the 'MOT story' reaches outside of MSE. Thoughts???
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
