I get embarrased though and have to walk off! Sometimes the kids can't put some thing in the persons trolley for laughing!!!! As soon as the person turns their back they are there shoving loads of stuff in and giggling off!!!

  • I played as a kid too. Just harmless fun. We called it chicken nelly. Not sure why! It was great fun and hilarious.

    innocent fun?
I have students (dormally drunk) knocking my door sometimes several times a night between 2 and 5am (thanks to the late night drinking law) and then running off.

    Any ideas?

If that was happening to me I would stay awake one night sitting by an upstairs window ( unlocked ready to push open quickly ) above the door and a bucket of p*** by the side of me , looking out of the curtains or listening for the students and as soon as one approaches the door I would empty the bucket over him :D .
  • We used to do this, our street run up a straight road so we got a ball of wool and put it back & forth through all the letterboxes then when a car came & hit the wool all the knockers went at once..
  • we used to call it knock and bolt (and we bolted fast!!!!) it was great fun, i've had it done to me at my house by the kids in the street and i just giggled to myself imagining how hilarious they were finding it and remembering how hilarious we found it - didnt bother me atall, all part of growing up :D
:D I understand ALOT more than I care to let on :D

  • This 2 year old thread has made a murky miserable tuesday a bit brighter for me...ahh the memories. I did this along with budding windows and privet scaling :o ...seems rather innocent compared to what happens these days.
