  • Prices for the tiny pollies dropped. After I'd sold my care bears DD started to collect old pollies and we have an enormous box in the loft that contains every compact set, a complete town and lots of jewellery. we were going to sell last year, but decided to wait until prices crept back up.

The exception to this is the Disney Polly Pockets that always seem to sell well.

Please let us know when it does, as I have quite a lot of these.... i also noticed they wern't worth selling when i did an ebay search the other day. so they are just sat around. Think they are all complete too :o

  • We recently came into possesion of a huge box of toys, as my husbands friend has moved to australia so she has given us her sons toys, and its lots of action figures, and Doctor who 12" figures, which i am going to hold onto as they are pristine condition and may go for alot in 20 odd years :)

Will do. I was gutted, Id paid £50 for the elusive bouncy castle from the town set and then the prices dropped!
  • I picked up a Noble Heart Care Bear a couple of years ago.He was 50p at a Carboot sale and sat in a kiddies pushchair.
I listed him on eBay and was told that he had no tail! I didn't realize because it didn't look as if anything had been cut off and he was so rare that i had difficulty finding a decent picture of him to compare.
    He still went for £255!
He was a UK exclusive, like a few others and the Americans love them.

sure it will be worth it, just look after them for the next 10-20 years, and you will be loaded!

Yes, hope so! I think prices are creeping back up, but there are a few rares in the pollyville town, bouncy castle and childrens hospital being two of them. As we only needed the castle to complete the town it was worth it.

The collection currently lives in a box in the loft, to give an idea of how much there is it's all packed in a box from a 36" standard TV! :D
