    Lego and Playmobil.

I collect old Playmobil, and thus know some are worth more than others. The old castles and particularly the Medieval Houses are worth going for but the real money is in the olde Victorian House theme, especially the market stalls and, surprisingly, the Park Fence set. This last complete in box can fetch up to £200 in good condition.

Fisher Price wind up record players etc.

Thank you for alerting me to this, pinkzebra, I spotted one in Oxfam recently and bought it for £4.99 - I noticed they were going for £20+. Unfortunately, I showed it to my two boys (5 and 7) thinking they wouldn't like it (it is supposed to be a baby toy!) but they've taken to it and won't let me sell it! :D

(It is nice though, it plays tunes like a music box)

Britains Swoppit Knights from the 70's.

The Britains farm buildings from the 60's and 70's go well too, especially if unbroken and complete (but even sightly damaged ones will sell for £20- £30) and Britains Garden pieces generally go for good money too, especially complete garden set ups.

Hi, I have a very rare TY beanie baby mouse (Trap) but i'm not sure if it would sell for what it is worth on ebay? The thing is, a friend told me it was super rare (and worth about £800!) about 8 years ago but I cannot find out how much it would be worth now.
    Anyone got any ideas?

The market for beannie babies dropped like a stone. There is a 'Trap' for sale on ebay at the moment for £3.49 on a BIN that has so far not sold.

There are also two other shop listing sone at £3.99 and one at £3.59

However one did sell but in a case and with a COA for £25 in the US 0237558684

I recently sold a book on Amazon about beanie babies that was written in the 1980s and which suggested which beanies to buy and how much they would be worth in 2005, some of th eprices were suggested to be in the high hundreds, yet those same beanies could be picked up on ebay at less than a pound.

The ebay link is a dog toy rather than a TY beanie baby but this one is authentic...

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ty-AUTHENTICATED-BEANIE-BABY-1st-Gen-TRAP-The-MOUSE_W0QQitemZ200195105800QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200195105800&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177

but at the end of the day what Soolin says is correct, they are only worth what someone will pay for them nowadays which is pretty much car boot type prices.
