Old toys that sell for alot on Ebay

Thought I would start a new thread for this... On another thread we discussed how much old 'my little ponies' now sell for... i am very gutted as i had alot of them, but my mum gave them away to a neighbour... If only we had known!
So before i let anything else be chucked out... I was wondering if anyone knows of and toys which are worth alot now, as my dad's loft is full of things, and if i can get some money out of it, it may be worth popping up there to pull my old toys down....
Anyone know?
:o
Thanks

vintage he-man and she-ra items seem to sell well. Vintage starwars go pretty well too but the higher prices are usually paid for more mint condition and/or items still in boxes. Good luck with your ebaying.Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:0 -

hmmm.. any more girlier toys?? I have a few boys toys that were passed onto me from my older borthers, but I'm not too sure what we still have.
Anyone know much about polly pockets? any money there? Ebay doesnt seem to have many on, so thats no help to me.
also, does anyone know what kids videos sell well? as we have a mountain of them, and there must be something amongst them surely.
can anyone tell i'm desperate for money??I:coffee:

Original Cabbage Dolls - especially those with the adoption certificate.
Have a look at https://www.ebaygoldmine.org - normally has some interesting things on there that are fetching premium rates.
My Dad is currently selling off his collection of 1970's Motor Rallying memorabilia, and some of that is fetching silly money, and attracting the attention of serious collectors and museums - he has recently been contacted by a former Rally world Champion about some photographs that were taken in 1979 of the winner celebrating one of his very first podium finishes.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Care Bears, like Ponies certain ones were UK only.
Popples, most are worthless, but again there are a few that can be rare.
Rainbow Brite, in good condition the dolls and sprites are quite pricey.
Littlest Pet Shop original releases
Mego Figures. again some were UK only releases, get one of these MIB etc and you could be into 4 figures.0 -
Thanks for that people :-)
Also, is there anything particually from the 80s which is worth alot? I am an 80s child, so most toys are just 80s/90s era, apart from those which we picked up at car boot sales.
Anyone know if a micheal jackson doll is rare? got it from a car boot as a kid.. i assume its from the 70's-80's.... but he has no clothes.... scary thought!I:coffee:
