I'm setting myself a target of £160 for July for all shop bought spends as I am starting off with fairly empty cupboards and freezer. I have a few meals partly made up in the freezer already from a major cooking session yesterday so I should be fineCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

My payday was today and I'm setting a budget of £55 for the month. I mastered three cheap but lovely receipes last month and have some leftover ingredients from those to make them again this month, and quite a bit of stuff leftover from the last week. One thing I find really useful with keeping receipts is that I can look at my shopping list and check how much things cost last time, so I go in to the shops with a pretty accurate idea of how much I'll be spending - I'm awful at keeping track of the overall cost of my basket as I'm walking round!0

I've started using the calculator function on my cheap and cheerful mobile phone. Oh dear.
Well, can you re-plan with whatever he did manage to buy...?
AND
Can you plan on a skinflint end to the month to teach him a lesson? Make sure that all that's left to cook with are things that you like but he's not so keen on
