The site is running so slow at the moment and not loading i am avoiding the poll surveys not worth the time.

I Emailed Toluna about the problems the Members are having and they are now trying to work it out, I am fed up of completing surveys and not getting paid the points for them, I have at least 5 surveys that I did months ago but I have not received the points for them yet, I have sent them 3 Emails and still no reply about them, its funny that they sent me a quick reply when I told them about the techi problems.:mad:

Have you created any topics? If you have let us know what they are (Titles) and your Toluna name and I will reply on them when I can (having terrible problems with the website at the moment so can not always get on there).

Are you not writing topics and doing 80 word replies + the sponspored surveys? When the site is working (which it does not really seem to be for the last week you should be able to get a voucher a month.

Ignore all your page says on delivery even if it shows No for postage. N/A - Not Applicable will change once you have a date, you do not get a date until just before they are due to be sent and even then it is only estimated.
Shop vouchers are mailed, internet ones are electronic. You will have to wait at least 8 weeks (or almost double that some times) for the vouchers to arrive. They will turn up eventually and by that time you will have more in the pipeline.

You should be able to get a voucher a month from writing topics, doing 80 word replies and the sponsored polls (when the site works).

Write an eighty word comment on your own or someone else’s topic and if it is accepted by Toluna you get 100 points. You can get points for up to 50 eighty word topics per month. These are credited on the 2nd & 15th of each month. Each reply is worth 100 points so that is 5,000 extra points. When they give them to you will have to look back over the last month as the points appear dated when you wrote the reply.

You can earn a maximum of 15,000 Content popularity bonus (opinion topic), either from one or several topics (credited as you earn them). You get points for replies on your topics as follows:
20 = 500 (note, some times it needs a 21st reply to get the points)
30 = 1000
40 = 2000
50 = 3000
75 = 3500
100 = 5000
Therefore you can get a total of 15000 if your topic reaches 100.
These points are given as the replies reach the required number. (Set the topic replies to a 10 word minimum and you will get lots of people replying; set it too high and people will not bother to reply, too many words to write).

Best way to earn points is to write a few topics, reply to lots of other members and they will return the favour. Be as active as you can within the site the more you use it the more you gain. You do not help others as much by voting on a poll, vote on their polls by all means but a vote is no substitute for a reply just because it seems easier for you to do.

Nothing makes a good topic, regardless of its content don’t look for that elusive topic that will do well there isn’t one. The key to this site depends on how many people reply to your topic and the only way they do that is by you going and doing loads of other peoples’ then many of them return the favour. Also one way to get a lot of replies is to write less topics, many people only do the first three on your profile page, quite a lot don’t look into the other pages, so the longer a topic stays on the page the more it gets seen the more replies you get.

Set topic and polls for as long as possible unless they are topical, set poll for all to vote on (make sure you have a no or not applicable option in a poll to get maximum votes).

Topics can be put on for a day, week, month, 3 months & six months, unless they are topical put you topics on for six months initially, the longer it is on and the more you are seen around the site the better chance you have of getting Popularity Bonus Points on them.

Thanks Meadows, that was really helpful. I've been with Toluna for ages but never really got how to make points from answering polls etc.

I ordered my first voucher on the 31st march and still heard nothing from them. Ordered another on the 29th April and again nothing. They dont appear to answer my emails and I have done atleast 4 surveys which i have done and not received the points for. Again i have emailed them and again heard nothing. I am 14000 away from my next voucher which i will stick with and order but after this i may give it a miss unless they either come back to me or send me atleast one of my vouchers. This site is soo annoying.

Is the site down for everyone? I just get the page not found error. Maybe they got so slow they having to sort out the problems again.

Here is a report I found, so means that in the 3 months and the estimated 4 million members thats just over £4 profit per member.

I have just checked and the site is down for "maintenance" as the site is " very unstable " - your not wrong there Toluna!!

they are upgrading the servers, maybe cause the site is so slow and buggy that they got to do something now that all the 4 million members know they earned 17 million in profits in the last 3 months
