Granny: if i could ever lose anything it would become the 8th wonder of the world.
So you can take me out of it untill i loose that first pound. But at least im not putting anything on right!
Oh no Vix, it's not as easy as that! You can jolly well stay on the chart, you WILL lose that pound. You are one of the most regular posters on this thread - it was the people who seem to be putting themselves in abeyance by not posting a WI or very much at all I was thinking of moving.0 -
Thanks for the thankis people! Thanks Gpuk for that amazing pic! Will have to save that
Ive just done 30 minutes of hardcore exercise! i did 500 steps on my stepper, 15 laps of my living room running and various other bits. Im well hot. Its amazing how a loss spurs you on to lose more! I was quite deflated earlier. I'll resume my exercise at 20 to, then i gotta stop get changed and do some reading before the boyfriend gets home! He will SO have to buy me a present for this lb!
Anyone else find that they feel like hudini in their sports bra? I know im wearing the wrong size and all, this this is a tad restricting in the arms.
Im thinking of going in for this: http://www.sportrelief.com/ Any of you guys doing it? Im thinking of asking my brother to do it with me because my boyfriend is working on the particular sunday it is on. Who is the person who is doing a much longer version of a sponsored run? I remember talking to them about it. Well this will be my starting point i think!0 -

WELL DONE VIX!!! Just make sure the pressie from OH isn't a takeaway:rotfl:
Ajax and Victory - I'll side with the highest bidder:D . Mind you, slightly put off by baaaaad memories of my mother's hotpot from childhood. One of the joys of being a grown up, has been never having to eat that again, so a lot of predudice to overcome.
Gpuk: a sts the same is pretty good: you have done well so far this month. Just don't let it throw you: keep focused and I reckon you'll lose again next week. Yeah, I love crisp bluesky winter days: my fav weather. We love walking on the downs when it is like this. I want a crumpet right NOWserpentinekiss. This is a lovely forum to belong to: lots of support and laughs. Keep posting regularly for max benefit:D .
Where's bluecorn this week? And suggs has been very quiet, and missyg.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

sorry QT, must be confusing you with someone else - it sounds like you are really up against it with your plan. You may have to consider withdrawing from the group cooking thing which would be a real shame for you, it sounds ever so sociable.0 -

well done vix, sounds like you have started, now seeing as your weighed clothed, remember what you wore and wear the same next week, otherwise you could get a gain without trying.
Different clothes have different weights so either weigh in the nuddy or in the same clothes and always after a cal to nature
Well dones as well to Grannynise, (halfway house!) Pixiedust, Victory and to GPUK If I have missed you, I am sorry and will take better aim next time
BB welcome to the maintainers club

Best of luck Bails, missing you already
Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to SuggsTours, if you lok out of the left window we will soon be passing the home of one vixarooni, how on January 30th in the year of our Lord 2008 squirted the 8th wonder of the world from her very own bottom. The number two, as we speak in currently residing in the British Museum as an example to all :rotfl:
Still daily weighing, as the restart of rugby once again led to a big gain, still trying to get rid of it too. Had a bad day yesterday as I let it get to me and ended hardly eating. Stupid and silly I know, but thats me. Hit the gym three days running, one day to gospeaking of running upto 1.5miles on the treadmill in 13 mins Im impressed
Btw, it was shoulder pads I started wearing for the first time, there is no natural pading on the shoulders anymore, so before christmas bought some, and hey pesto, they are a little too big for me (doh!)serendisglair wrote: »so It always leads me to wonder....even though the weightloss is slow and frustrating...what on earth would I look like and feel like if I wasn't making any effort at all?Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

I didn't believe the scales when I got on them today as I have gained five pounds! How did that happen, I really have been careful about my food and also have been exercising each day, walking the dog, exercise ball, trampoline and bike. Granted I don't do very long on any of those things but such a huge gain has really depressed me. I did start some new tablets last Friday but they don't mention weight gain as a side effect. I do take three others that all state weight gain as a side effect and I thought I was at least preventing it getting any worse.
I am going to go to the pool tomorrow for my hydrotherapy but now dread having to change into my swimsuit again in front of all the skinny people who have spent loads of money on the Cam diet!
I haven't posted much because I did have a horrible feeling that I had put some weight on and didn't want to admit it to myself but now the scales prove it.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Well done Vix...u are hilarious to read!!!
KPC..lol your grandma reminds me of my one...she is exactly the same she dedicates DAYS to doing her ironing...when ever she comes to my house it has to be in tip top condition with all the things you have mentioned 'nicely pressed' You are not a slob..just a normal woman in the 21st century!
Regarding my cooking rota, I am gonna confront my friends...if I have the guts and see if we can work something out or I will have to go solo! You are right KPC it is a nice arrangement, but it may have to go!!
Also I wanted to ask of you guys who have tried out both WW and SW which one you think is better. Especially seeing as I like tasty food, like vegetables and eat at weird hours!!
Thanks
