Blurgh. Someone please pass me the Andrews.
Thanks vix for probably the best page of links I've ever seen on a web page. Pity we're missing the bravissimo collection tho0 -
thanks bb but every negative has a positive and now I have no need to eat for the rest of the night to allow the blood sugar numbers to come down:D saves on the calories and there was me thinking I did so well, makes you think might as well had the choc:rotfl: :rotfl:
Vic don't do it down...its unfortunate that your numbers went up but think how much higher they would have gotten if it was chocolate!!! and you never know next time you might get a sudden hankering for celery
Celebrate it as the achievement it is!!0 -

Forgive me forummates for I have synned. Tomorrow is our pseudo- 14th Feb so tonight I planned to be especially good in advance. It didn't work out that way though, I was celebrating beating my bank , drank two bottles of red wine and then went and got a bag of chip shop chips. The irony is that if I wasn't tipsy there's no way I'd have fancied the chips. Catch 44. I feel awful now after reading how good you guys are being, I feel like I've let the side down. There's no way I can claw it back tomorrow as that would be disrespectful to MrsA - she's insisted that she totally treat me to my perfect Italian (not Sophia Loren) as her way of saying thanks for the last few months. My dumbness tonight has left me with a WL problem. Grrr @ me. I have to have 2 really naughty nights in a week and will undoubtedly gain. I have no way out and it's all my dumb fault
I wouldn't bother feeling left out of the goodness ajax...you can come over here to my naughty corner....I have been doing well since monday as I haven't had much time to eat and then was roughly employing sw principles (I struggle with a lack of planning and a need for 3 healthy B's not 2) to my evening meal...then thursday rolls around and we end up having an unplanned curry and as I am so disorganised there wasn't much in the house so picked at some thing during the day and then had a rubbish tea...and the 2lbs I've seen myself losing this week has gone straight back on...
It would appear to lose weight I must lose my interest in food and forgo a social life

Ladies who need help!:
Ultimo or Atlantis if you really wanna go for it. I usually find that your boobs work for either one or the other. Im an ultimo girl, my heart lies there because it was the first one to give me a cleavage! I often get them in the sale so look out for either! Heres a fave of mine:

Atlantis by panache is the other make:

More every day t shirt stuff rather than cleavage.
Gossards superboost is another good one to try. Debenhams Ultimate range is also good and cheaper. Nice for t shirt wearage. About £16 a pop but often have 20% off at various sale times.
Vix - Brilliant
I love it when someone has so much enthusiasm for their 'work', I think your idea of working for yourself can only succeed.
Thank you for the info, it will be invaluable when I next go bra shopping.

Big Boobed ladies of the DD+ variety:
I got off to a good start, last night I had a plate packed with vegetables for my tea along with a piece of fish, I absolutely adore veg of any variety so that's what I'm gonna focus on as a weight loss aid - getting my 5 a day EVERY day.
This weekend should be good exercise-wise. Today I'm either going out mountain biking for a couple of hours or I'm carrying on with some redecorating (sanding the staircase so it's pretty strenuous), and tomorrow I'm definitely going out mountain biking for a couple of hours at least. If I don't go out on my bike today I promise to do 20 minutes on the crosstrainer which is currently gathering dust in my spare room.
That's my pledge for today0 -
Hi Everyone,
I am a newbie!! Hope you don't mind me jumping aboard your wagon (I've fallen off the wagon with my eating so many times, I just hope this one is fitted with seat belts!!!) I lost 8.5 stone 2 years ago, got to my goal weight, became a weight watcher leader, met a new man, life changed completly and i'm almost back to square one!, I weighed in last Wednesday at 17 stone 12 (needless to say I have given up being a leader but will happily help anyone if they need it)
I am my own worst enemy, I am a Chocoholic and crave all fatty foods, don't like salad although have started eating a salad made with spinich leaves, chicken, bacon and anything else festering in my fridge!!
Anyway if its ok with you I'd love to post my weight loss each week, but am thick skinned (Probably weighs about 6 stone!!!!) so if you don't want a newbie i'd understand!

Brighton_belle wrote: »Yup, it was me bails: as you say, it is a totally apt description. Very very relieved to hear your OH has acknowleged the very difficult situation. (Can't find a phew! smilie). I hope he can build on this.
I agree about being able to see the faults in ones own parents. Fortunately, my dad who is 'a character' is also very loving, so OH and I can have a laugh about him, but still enjoy his company, which I'm very grateful for.
The trouble is with knickers that don't fit properly is they make you look fatter because they don't give you a smooth line under your clothes but 'nice' lumps and bumps. Am refitting into lingerie sets I had before that I could never face throwing coz they were so lovely:j .
Exactly about the knickers BB, I never wear the ones that are too small so have to do a lot of washingI look forward to the day they fit again, as will OH I'm sure!

Last night my teenage son had a sleep over and he was near to tears at the lack of food in the house, when I said there was fruit, plain biscuits, brown bread for toast, etc he went mad...'I mean real food' (crisps, pizzas, sweets, sugar, more sugar!! which I no longer buy) he said I had embarrased him infront of his mate, that I do not feed him anymore and he is sick of me being so healthy!! I don't think he is taking it very well:rotfl: :rotfl:
Which let me to read my pieces of paper all around the house and ask H about it, he says there is food in the house and that son will have to get used to it although he has no weight issues, he can have something here and there but it can be from outside rather than having it in, he can buy it with his pocket money etc, I also found out that is what H does if he fancies choc bars, he buys them, eats them and then comes home, crumbs I have created a family of secret eaters:rotfl:
I work best if it is not in the house, ever, might conceed to baked not fried crisps but then again H says if you get them in they eat them like locusts and they eat them for the sake of it.
H and I understand each other better now I have explained things to him, thanks to the bits of paper a few fridays ago DS had a bag of choc eclairs the sweets not the cakes, they sat in the living room for ages and were making me feel uncomfortable so I told H and he said take one and I will put the rest away which I did and it was the perfect solution, H is now being very supportive.
I have found out loads of things by writing things down, my first diet was when I was 12, mum sent me back to UK to be looked after by the grandparents, they let me eat all day long, returned to Spain, got off the coach, mum shrieked and put me on a diet from sep to xmas eve:rotfl: :rotfl: I asked her about it and she said I was huge and she did it for me.
I know I boredom eat, have (thought it would have diminished by now but has not) got a huge appetite, can't drink anyone under the table but can eat them:rotfl: :rotfl: don't comfort eat, just feel resentful towards people that can eat all day long and not gain an ounce and miss the eating for England days.
Must dash now, be back later0
