That is the next bra i am getting! Its the best! Everyone at work has it reserved. obviously with matching briefs and i might get the suspender belt too. Infact i will.
Oooh Vix that is an utterly gorgeous bra and I want one. The only appear to sell matching thongs though and a throng is a step to far for me. Do they sell any other form of brief? I had a look at the rest of the site and am hooked. As soon as I am up and about properly I shall go and get myself measured.

Wow, you guys can talk this afternoon! Hiya Cazzdevil and welcome to the gang!

Ajax, the nickname was The Dementor, it started on here as a joke (by BB I think:confused:), as I said something along the lines of her being v draining/ sucking the life out of me (a reference to my illness etc). Must've been while you were dormant... Anyway, this is the only place it ever gets used and is simply to help me let off steam. I hear what you're saying about every MiL being someone's mum and I also think that it is entirely possible to recognise faults in your own parents. OH admits that she is evil to me, and to be honest, there are many, many worse names I could use to describe her; this is very restrained I feel :D
Anyway, OH is back after a proper door-slamming affair (the boy is normally horizontally laidback so this is extreme) and accepting that I deserve better than I am currently getting from both of them :T Tomorrow then, sees me trying to crawl back on the wagon and hopefully do some exercise after a good night's sleep (pretty please).

    Victory
, fantastic news about your positive eating, well done! That is no small feat indeed, I hope you're well chuffed with yourself :T

On the exercise front, I could use some help actually - I have a psychological barrier to going to the gym, not because I don't enjoy it but because I am scared that I will overdo it/ feel frustrated at how little I can now do compared to before. Anyone got any bright ideas to get over this hurdle? Yes, I am competitive, almost entirely with myself, and can probably still remember the times/speeds/weights I used to do (obviously not trying to think about it too hard ). I have a gym membership which entitles me to everything so I really would like to make the most of it and get over my 'before' phobia. Thanks guys.

BTW, it's green pens all the way here!

Way to go with the big pants BB! I'm afraid to say that here I have a whole drawer full of knickers that are too small for me...and only a handful that fit me!

Bails, my suggestion would be to write down the details of a workout programme that you think is suitable for yourself at the present time, and take it with you.

I would suggest making it quite detailed so it looks like more written down, even if it isn't. If you're on the machines, put which mode, how long, which level, which speed, revs. Or have a choice of things written down and say pick 3 of them to do when you get there depending how you feel. If you're doing exercises describe those or even do diagrams, and include your warm ups and cool downs, swimming and jacuzzi of course.

If you can stretch it to a couple of pages, it might help give you the "wow, I did all that!" feeling even if it isn't as much as you used to do before.

You could include check boxes for each time you complete the workout, the main thing is setting appropriate limits and not aiming too high too soon which you already know - you're one of the most sensible bods on here! :D

    welcome cazz:D

ajax there are leaflets/pamphlets type things that they hand out for free at the WW meetings but then they are the books they charge for...

bb:j :j bye bye big knickers;)

I go to primark (the poor mans lingerie shop I call it!!) for the matching bra/knicker sets, cheap as chips and ideal for valentines day

bails yes and no, I am or was pleased as punch it was only crackers but for some unknown reason it still shot up my diabetic numbers into the 20's when that usually only happens when sugar is involved and no sugar was in the crackers:cool:

Yup, it was me bails: as you say, it is a totally apt description. Very very relieved to hear your OH has acknowleged the very difficult situation. (Can't find a phew! smilie). I hope he can build on this.
I agree about being able to see the faults in ones own parents. Fortunately, my dad who is 'a character' is also very loving, so OH and I can have a laugh about him, but still enjoy his company, which I'm very grateful for.
The trouble is with knickers that don't fit properly is they make you look fatter because they don't give you a smooth line under your clothes but 'nice' lumps and bumps. Am refitting into lingerie sets I had before that I could never face throwing coz they were so lovely:j .

Really sorry to hear that victory. You did so well to avoid the sugar fest.

Talking about MIL, mine is something else, used to write awful letters to me etc but she is and always will be OH mum, he loves her and vice versa, there is no love lost between us two though and we got to the stage where we both agreed it would not get any better and stopped all visits etc but now 2 weeks away is MIL big birthday party, OH says we have to all go, I rang my sister (she is my life saver!!) she said 2 things...

    1) Millions of people at xmas have to spend time with family they don't enjoy but they do it for their OH, for the kids, for peace, etc... 3 days out of your life will not kill you to put a smile on your face and be nice (I disagree)

2)write down (she is heavily into positive/negative lists, putting thoughts on paper etc) 20 reasons you do not want to go and show it to your OH and make him come up with 20 reasons why you should be put into the situation that you do not want to be in and if he can come up with 20 reason then go.

I have done that, 20 reasons why I don't think going to her big bash in any way would be pleasant for me and so far come up with 2 reasons I think OH would write like ...we have to do it for the sake of the grandkids, because I want you to, now he has 18 more to find:rotfl:

If that helps re MIL, I think it is a great way of the OH also realising how bad the situation is for yourself personally, how it makes you feel etc , it clarifies the situation and brings it out into the open...

.... teachers aren't allowed to use red pens around here mate :) Seriously! The use of a red pen for correction scars a kid for life apparently, turning them instantly into maniacal killers due to the negativity being pumped through the synapses. Teachers have to use green pens these days.

And (if it's ok to begin a sentence with a co-ordinating conjunction... Granny?) I won't correct your 'been' to 'being' :D

    No-one likes a smart ar5e!! ;)
