Lil_me - sorry to hear about DH. Like you say you get one problem sorted and the next is round the corner.
Pigpen - Fab nails - I dont think I could cope with them that long, I always end up bending my nails backwards.
Right this morning I have:-

Sorted dark wash for WM
Cleaned porch (swept, mopped etc)

Hoovered lounge
S & S kitchen
Sorted littles ironing pile - just need to put away
Popped to shop for salad stuff for tea
Beds aired and made (plan to change all tomorrow)

Like the idea of dustys list of including things for me, I need to get into more of a routine for washing my hair, exercise, etc. It takes so long to dry and straighten it am thinking of going back to my natural curly look but not sure. Maybe make appointment at hairdressers and see what they think am just sick of it looking a mess.
PIGPEN - what exercise dvds have you got? Ive seen the dirty dancing one and quite fancy that but the reviews on amazon are mixed. Also the strictly come dancing one 'cos I think I could do that when the girls are here and they would want to do it too. may see if DHs friend can download some for me;) .
Right best go check on TD.

Morning all, loving my DD right now. She didnt wake up til 10.20am so had a lovely long lie. It does mean we're slightly behind schedule now, but i enjoyed my long lie! Need to go iron something for her to wear:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Hello all,
Well, we've been busy, but not flying I'm afraid. Items on ebay, including my old trumpet which I will be very very sad to say goodbye to. Very very very sad actually. It was a present for my eighteenth birthday, it has a rose-brass bell and beautiful intonation, but since DH lost his job we're about £1,000 behind on bills, so it has to be listed. The money won't make me any less sad though.
Skintscotslass my mum is/was an army wife and each time we moved out of a property (about every two/three years) we'd have to have it up to march out standards. She used to use a mixture of bleach and talc for bloodstains. It needs to be quite a thick paste, spread it on and let it dry. When it's dry, chip off the worst of it and remove, then vacuum the mattress. It should be looking much better by then.
Embb glad to hear about DIL, hope she's back on form soon. Pigpen, loving your finger bling, just wish I had the time to do mine! Good luck Lilo, sending good vibes from Exeter.
Don't want to clean today. Am very tired and a bit sad. x0 -
Got the wii so I can relax now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

BUT I have just invested ina couple of cheap ones off Amazon so I'll give them a blast and see what I think.. The only problem I have with the Dan Karaty one is.. I cannot for love nor money do the two step.... 3 left feet!
Ok.. heart rate now stable.. I'll go get a shower.. cos I worked up a lather!.. I'll do the bathroom while I'm in there.. where's me chamois!?

Sorry pigpen - wasn't on line when you threw (with those delicious nails) the HHE gauntlet - naked though wow-that's brave - my boobs would knock me out! Will do later.
I've a confession to make - I went to enrol in WW last night, waited in the queue for 45 mins and still wasn't inside the main room and I thought, in true OS style, "what the hell am I doing, giving them £5.50 a week and they won't even shout at me" - I learned from last time that I need someone to hunt me down. So I've weighed and measured myself at home instead and will just re-read all of the mountain of stuff from last time.
So I'm gonna try doing it at home and using the various threads on here, as well as ask a very fierce friend to b*ll*ck me when I stray - I've got to do something tho cause I've gone back up to my heaviest weight ever.I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Maralum.. finger bling.. love it.. I may keep that phrase!!

LG.. I'll beat you into slenderness.. I have at least 2 stone to shift.. preferably 4 but lets not be ambitious!! Small goals.. on the OS weight loss board we are looking at 7lb before valentines day.. are you in? no money spent.. thousands saved.. We can declutter our bodies on here as well as our houses surely?
£5.50 is extortion!!
There will be another HHE about 10:30 tomorrow too.. so be prepared!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
