Today I am going to get stuck in, yesterday I was a little lazy and then someone (np idea who but someone I thought was a friend) decided to try and cause !!!! between me and the ex and at that point I'd had enough and went to bed, however my spare room is beginning to look less like a dumping ground. It looked like this at the beginning of the month
Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room
Clean floors
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Vacuum floors and sofas
Wednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings
Strip bed linen and wash, replace with clean linen - will do when new bedbase arrives on sat
Check fire alarms are working
Remove floordrobe from the floor!
Vacuum floors in these areas
Vacuum mattress - will do when new bedbase arrives on sat
Extra mission tasks, as always if you fancy an extra challenge try one or more of these
- Check through a drawer, throw out what should have gone ages ago and organise that drawer
- Clean out that vacuum cleaner, make sure it's not clogged up with hair/fluff. Clean the filers if they are washable (after you have vacuumed and allow to dry completely before replacing!!!
Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)
Clean baths, toilets and sinks
[strike] Clear any clutter from desk[/strike]
[strike] Dust PC and desk, wipe with damp cloth if grimey
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc[/strike]
[strike] Clear clutter from floor[/strike]
Wipe down tiles in bathroom
[strike] Tidy up the desk top on your PC[/strike]
Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:
* Clean downstairs loo if you have one, or ensuite for the lucky ones!
* Clean the outside of the toilet
[STRIKE] * Do a disc clean up on PC[/STRIKE]
Plus:
[strike] Put all the DIY stuff into storage cupboard in study now that's been tidied - half moved[/strike]
List some more stuff on freecycle

Good morning everyone. Well we've found out which company has overcharged DPs card, found out that even with the transactions on his card shouldn't really have been declined £150 more left in there than the amount it was at the petrol station, so waiting for the bank to phone him back and explain why it was declined! One day I might be more organised...........

DS1s taxi arrived mid posting :rotfl: so just posted where I'd got up to. DP definately not working tonight, going to pop and see his boss when I take DS2 for his dentist appointment. Appointment is 11.30am so hoping to get a couple of things done before we go, I just kept DS2 off because it's easier, not much point rushing him there for school to collect him at 10.30am. He's upstairs doing educational games on his PC so I feel less guilty
Oh we fixed the Wii, well not fixed, just put the game in the right way uptold you I was useless at games consoles :rotfl:
how silly did I feel!!!
Kaz, I use www.washerhelp.co.uk for advice on the washer, I use vinegar on a hot wash instead of the calgon stuff.
embb the price of baby stuff I'd say it is never too early to start collecting things, Matthew's Mam has saved a fortune (much needed as his hospital time cost a lot of money) I've got things off freecycle for her, she has my cotshe was given stuff by others etc.
Pink Fairy, Flylady is an American ladies idea, the thread started as replicating Flylady, which stands for 'Finally Loving Yourself' now we do things a little 'different' to the way it is done on there. Well done to your partner, but I can understand why it'd make you feel a little 'cross', my partner is a superhero to everyone else aswell, but that takes time away from his family where until recently he's not very helpful. Every time he does a DIY job or someones garden in an instant when they ask makes me curse all the more when he NEVER does our garden and it takes him 2 years to build a wardrobe.
Right, shower then do the bathroom I think, I've got into the system of clean the loo, then sink then go in the shower then clean the bath and shower screen, works quite well for meOne day I might be more organised...........
