Is my "busy" day ... I have to go to work and be a chauffeur, normally at the same time (thank g*d for multi-tasking, LOL)
Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Level One
Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)
Level Two
Clean baths, toilets and sinks
Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk, wipe with damp cloth if grimy
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three
Clear clutter from floor
Wipe down tiles in bathroom
Tidy up the desk top on your PC
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:
* Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
* Clean downstairs loo if you have one, or ensuite for the lucky ones!
* Clean the outside of the toilet
* clean the radiators in these rooms
* Do a disc clean up on PC
Hmmmm ... all of this needs doing one way or another, I have already "warned" DH that he is in charge of the main bathroom tomorrow, although I will be writing a comprehensive list in a moment or two, LOL!
I am, however, enjoying participating in this thread, as little by little I do believe that we're getting there. Today, I did indeed clear the bottom of my wardrobe and it looks shiny and neatThis evening, I have got a lot lower on both the business and the personal in trays (financial only) ... they no longer overflow and I'm feeling in charge
Bring it on :T:T

Well, fellow Flyladies (why Fly?), I've skimmed through all the news but I wish there were more hours in the day for this! I've done no flying today because I've been so busy and I only had about 3 hours sleep last night, so shattered. No voice, so a nice day working from home tomorrow will give me time to do a bit in between whiles. I'm so happy to be joining in with you all, and hopefully getting back to how things used to be. I've had so little weekend time lately because it's been all housework. This weekend starts early though. Hairdresser on Friday and a manicure/pedicure on Saturday am (special offer) because we're at a Mess (Rorke's Drift) Dinner on Saturday might. BTW, my DH has been awarded the Lord Lieutenant's Order of Merit for Services to Youth. Presentation on 14th Feb. Who's a clever boy then? I'm really proud of him. Kind of makes up for him spending so much time with other folks kids, while his DS is ill at home!!! Night night, folks, sleep well, and I hope no one has had any major weather (flood) problems.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Gaooy Birthday for yesterday hollyh and Pigpen's DS
AnW's Mum - I'd forgotten that W is the same age as Connor who will be 5 in June. Its a brilliant age, isn't it. He is still soooo sweet and funny but his learning etc has really sped up since startintg school, I love seeing the way he absorbs everything.
The other week I said on Friday night, could he try and not get up early the next day as we wanted to have a lie in to catch up on sleep. He thought about it for a minute and then said "where are you going to catch the lion ?" :rotfl:
I've had a brilliant day today - dropped kids off at school/preschool, raced to the gym and dropped baby in creche and did a spinning class - I LOVE spinning, and stayed for coffee with friends after. Then collected DD, took her to McD's for lunch and hubs came too, then pottered about at home before colelcting DS from school.
Tidied up etc, did his homework task, dinner, baths, bed, had a row with husband (more on that later if anyone is interested), did some sit up type things (how good am I) then crashed into bed with laptop and have just watshed Grand Designs. Husband keeps popping in to ask if I am ok He knows I am cross and he feels guilty but I just want to stay up here and not go over old ground and get crosser). Going to watch the Jamie Oliver thing too.

Gah! Forgot about that! Will catch it on +1. I've just spent hours catching up on this thread. My thanks button has been a bit wonky, so apologies is I havent thanked anyone.
Lilo - I hope things are well with you. Fingers crossed.
About to start a HHC, starting off by wrapping up warm and putting the bins out. It is sooooo cold. Expecting snow tonight, so I might not get into work. What a shame eh? But we're due to go to the Panto, so....
Anyway, best crack on. Catch up with you all on Friday xx0 -
Evening all
Another no flying day for me.
Working again and then had to do a detour on way home to drop my boss off as her car in dock today. Then collect DD from childminder. Came home and put car away then remembered that having new WM delivered at 530 so had to go out and move car again. You cant beat local family service. OH only phoned them yesterday to come out and look at old one which really was past it (we'd had it 15 years  ). Then they manage to get the new one for delivery today and at a time convenient to us, and only £30 more expensive than I could get it on the internet (which I couldnt get delivered until Monday)
Saw your pics this morning pigpen, tiddles is gorgeous and I saw your DS blowing out his candles before it reverted to a hosting image. Wish I could cope with nails like that too.
Feel for you and OH lilme, we usually think that we're beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel then we fall into a big black hole.
Embb you are doing really well, new hair, weight loss, you'll soon show your OH (ex OH ?) what he's missing. good on ya.
Managed to miss Martins programme (the one they wanted me to be on - but I declined as way too embarrassed) as spending quality time with DD.
Oh and I'm not sure if I'm one of the youngest or oldest. It's my 11th birthday at the end of Feb but then of course I'll be 44 :rotfl: .
Gonna have an early night as had a headache all day so will be playing big catch up at the weekend again as nothing done again.
Have fun
Kaz
PS friendly guys advice for new washing machines. Only use 1/2 the amount of powder you think you need (that means a value box will now last 2 months instead of 1) and only 1/2 a capful of concentrated conditioner as they clog up the machine, so 90 degree (empty) wash once a month. And he recommends calgon to PREVENT not remove lime scale, 1 tablet every 3 or 4 washes.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Grrr...I lasted a long time!!! Just went to make DDs bed (I misread the tasks and thought it was all bedrooms!!) Anyway, when I stripped the bed this morning I didnt notice that she has bled and it has gone through to the mattress. Is there anything that will take the stain out? It is a white mattress, I dont know how I missed it this morning. Obviously I was half asleep.0
