Ok so maybe it won't work for everybody. I loved seeing the dead body disected on Jamie - shame it wasn't Jamie himself.

    As requested.. NAILS!!!!

    (pic removed for bandwidth)

The scabby second one up was replaced earlier!! And the thumb on the other hand.

Are they glamourous enough for you all?? AND I was unblocking a stinky loo earlier with that hand!! lol

Splendiferous Nails!!!!! (and thanks for the extra, stomach churning details).

OK the Bad news is it is almost 1 in the morning and I am still working BUT tomorrow will hopefully (after an intial panic) be fairly clear so I should be able to do todays and tomorrows stuff (touch wood)!
  • Grrr...I lasted a long time!!! Just went to make DDs bed (I misread the tasks and thought it was all bedrooms!!) Anyway, when I stripped the bed this morning I didnt notice that she has bled and it has gone through to the mattress. Is there anything that will take the stain out? It is a white mattress, I dont know how I missed it this morning. Obviously I was half asleep.

This can be so frustrating - I have awfully heavy periods and so had to clean the mattress on a regular basis until I discovered moon cups. The only way I found is to do it while it is wet and use cold water (not hot as that sets it) and some dishwashing liquid or other detergent. If it has dried, soak a towel and lay it on the stain for an hour before starting the elbow work. None of this is dreadfully convenient as it probably means a wet mattress tonight. And I've found it is rare that they completely come out I'm afraid.
  • Hi there everyone - thank you SO MUCH for your good wishes - I have just caught up on the thread - and yes I should be in bed - and I was really touched.

Well, good news and bad (ish) one ovary is full of cysts and hasnt produced any follicles - but the other one has produced 2 - So, I have what I need and no more - I produced 5 last time. I only actually need 2 embryos to go back in BUT I have some hoops to jump through first - Both follicles need to contain eggs, both need to fertilise and both need to be good enough to go back in. Last time, all did all of the above, so the two best were returned (but it didnt work) so this time, I am rather flying by the seat of my pants, although obviously 2 is nice but I really only need one to make a baby. I suppose I am a bit down that after all this I only have 2, but equally, I must be really upbeat as 2 is all I need. And obviously I am concerned as to why I only made 2 and hoping that this is a blip rather than a sign that this is not really a future option if this doesnt work - I hope Im making sense cos I am really rather tired now!!

Oh, and I must retract my comments re DH, he rearranged his whole day to come with me Wot a sweetie!!!!!!!!!!

So, next scan on Saturday, to date the egg collection day, which will be either Monday or Tuesday with embryo transfer Wed or Thurs, so I am getting rather excited really (and scared)

And to add to the ages, I am 38, 39 in April

Pigpen I want those nails, they are GORGEOUS, and those piccies of the littleys are really precious.

Thanks again for all your good wishes, they made me blub (I am emotional at the mo) that you cared enough to ask
