I was doing so well today! Pulled out the sofa and hoovered underneath it, cleaned the blinds, took down the net curtain and washed it, cleaned the windows. My front room was almost sparkling! Then DD, just 2, decided that whilst I was out of the room it was a good time to poo on the carpet and mush it in with her feet and a SPOON!!
OMG I have never seen so much poo in my life! It was so stamped into the carpet I didn't know where to start cleaning it, or her, as she was covered in poo from her hands to her feet.
I can 'almost' laugh about it now, but believe me I was nearly crying earlier.
Onto the bedroom now though0 -
I've been out for a lot of the day, but let's take a look to see if I've achieved anything:
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
[strike] Vacuum floors and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
[/strike]Level 2
[strike]Dusting, even if around everything [/strike]
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Level 3
[strike]Wipe light switches and banister[/strike]
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
[strike]Tidy shoes, coats and bags[/strike]
Vacuum under furniture
Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –- Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it
- Phone a friend or loved one, catch up on the gossip or just to tell them you care (I do have 2 e:mails I want to do tomorrow which are important)
- Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe
- [strike]Clean a window, only need to do one but if you manage more then
well done [/strike]
- Using the idea Shirley suggested (where is she anyway?), get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. You could delegate and give everyone their own misplaced things to deal with
Other:
Make marmalade - in progress, but absolutely whacked, so may do in 2 stages. We'll see.
[strike]Get dinner in the SC before we go to the Panto, oh yes I will.
Took DD's library books back, and let her choose new ones
Pick up DH's framed graduation picture (it's only taken me 14yrs to get it done, LOL!)
Take 3 of us to the dentist
Go to the Panto[/strike]
Tomorrow's list doesn't look too bad, as I did all the bedlinen on Saturday, but I know I want to tackle the hotspot that is the bottom of our wardrobe .... it's frightful.GC - March 2024 -0 -

Evening all,
Just popping in to say hi, not much flying happening tonight too tired and basically not in the mood a bath, a glass of wine and my book are much more appealing. I only have ahalf day to work tomorrow so will catch up on todays list then.
Hope all are okay, did manage to catch your flylady reasons list lil_me, hope you weren't getting a hard time on another thread, I have definetly saved a lot of money in the year that I have been flying if on nothing else just by not buying all the household cleaners which I used to, so many thanks for keeping it going.

Gah! I hate long nails! Mine are always cut to the quick, I can't do anything with them!
