I was doing so well today! Pulled out the sofa and hoovered underneath it, cleaned the blinds, took down the net curtain and washed it, cleaned the windows. My front room was almost sparkling! Then DD, just 2, decided that whilst I was out of the room it was a good time to poo on the carpet and mush it in with her feet and a SPOON!!
OMG I have never seen so much poo in my life! It was so stamped into the carpet I didn't know where to start cleaning it, or her, as she was covered in poo from her hands to her feet.

I can 'almost' laugh about it now, but believe me I was nearly crying earlier.

Onto the bedroom now though :D

I've been out for a lot of the day, but let's take a look to see if I've achieved anything:

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
    [strike] Vacuum floors and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    [/strike]Level 2
[strike]Dusting, even if around everything [/strike]
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    [strike]Wipe light switches and banister[/strike]
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
    [strike]Tidy shoes, coats and bags[/strike]
    Vacuum under furniture
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it
    • Phone a friend or loved one, catch up on the gossip or just to tell them you care (I do have 2 e:mails I want to do tomorrow which are important)
    • Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe
    • [strike]Clean a window, only need to do one but if you manage more then :D well done [/strike]
    • Using the idea Shirley suggested (where is she anyway?), get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. You could delegate and give everyone their own misplaced things to deal with :D

    Other:
Make marmalade - in progress, but absolutely whacked, so may do in 2 stages. We'll see.
[strike]Get dinner in the SC before we go to the Panto, oh yes I will.
Took DD's library books back, and let her choose new ones
Pick up DH's framed graduation picture (it's only taken me 14yrs to get it done, LOL!)
Take 3 of us to the dentist
    Go to the Panto[/strike]

Tomorrow's list doesn't look too bad, as I did all the bedlinen on Saturday, but I know I want to tackle the hotspot that is the bottom of our wardrobe .... it's frightful.

    Hiya
    Thought i'd sort out my list for tomorrow;

Wednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings
    Level One
Strip bed linen and wash, replace with clean linen
    Check fire alarms are working
    Level Two
    Remove floordrobe from the floor!
    Vacuum floors in these areas
    Level Three
    Vacuum mattress
Clean tops of drawers and wardrobes
Extra mission tasks, as always if you fancy an extra challenge try one or more of these

    • Clean windows in the bedroom, make sure you wipe the sill too
    • Check through a drawer, throw out what should have gone ages ago and organise that drawer
    • Sort through anything that is 'stashed' under the bed, might aswell give it a vacuum under there while it's empty
    • Clean out that vacuum cleaner, make sure it's not clogged up with hair/fluff. Clean the filers if they are washable (after you have vacuumed and allow to dry completely before replacing!!!)
    • Clean doors including handles downstairs
    • Sort out bureau in bedroom
    • Wash children's bed covers
    • Half hour filing and shredding
    • Walk dog
    • Pay course fees
    That'll do for now. xx

    January budget
    Nothing left!

Enjoy your pta meeting twinny, we haven't had one yet this year. I'm sure it's round the corner though. Oh joy! Actually I don't mind them when we're allowed to crack open a bottle of wine xx

LJD1 - are you and Dusty real twins, or is this a spiritual twindom? Have I missed something somewhere?

    Evening all,

Just popping in to say hi, not much flying happening tonight too tired and basically not in the mood a bath, a glass of wine and my book are much more appealing. I only have ahalf day to work tomorrow so will catch up on todays list then.

Hope all are okay, did manage to catch your flylady reasons list lil_me, hope you weren't getting a hard time on another thread, I have definetly saved a lot of money in the year that I have been flying if on nothing else just by not buying all the household cleaners which I used to, so many thanks for keeping it going.

night from me will catch up properly tomorrow.

ETA.. you know.. I'll be glad tomorrow when I've had these 2 broken nails fixed.. I can't type!!! I have had to edit every single post I have made today due to spelling errors!!! If I'd left them you'd all think I was entirely thick!!

Gah! I hate long nails! Mine are always cut to the quick, I can't do anything with them!

Lil-me...well said! :T I find the time I spend cleaning means I'm too busy to go out and spend, and I don't get bored at home and start browsing on the net!
Tidy house - tidy mind - tidy wallet! :D

Front room is now sparkling, I'm just watching Masterchef, then I'm off to do dishes.
