    Hi

    Thanks for my birthday wishes:T

Happy birthday to Pigpens middle son:beer:

Well i wasn't a completely lazy cow this morning i have done some jobs. I've just rewarded myself by eating half a tub of cookies and cream icecream:p that ds1 bought me. Yum yum.

Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe those surfaces, even if around things!
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary[/STRIKE])

    Level Two
Clean floors Couldn't do this as i broke my mop:o
[STRIKE]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, wipe any spills
    [/STRIKE]

Dust any other dining room furniture, check for cobwebs on the way round
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe & replace small appliances such as kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances, don't forget those kick boards
Check those washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters
    [/STRIKE]

    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • [STRIKE]
      • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
      • Wipe down any tiled areas
      • Clean the inside of cupboard doors
      • Clean microwave inside and out
      • Clean one cupboard out, what is that in there? anything out of date? Sort through it and clean it before putting everything back
[/STRIKE] Did my pan cupboard and now can put away the new pans i had for xmas:o
    • Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

      Level 1
      [STRIKE]
    • Vacuum floors and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
      Level 2
      Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
      Level 3
      Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
      Tidy shoes, coats and bags
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, no injuries, no pregnant people moving sofas please!!)
      Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it
    • Phone a friend or loved one, catch up on the gossip or just to tell them you care x
    • Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe
    • Clean a window, only need to do one but if you manage more then :D well done
    • Using the idea Shirley suggested (where is she anyway?), get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. You could delegate and give everyone their own misplaced things to deal with :D

Thanks Rumbly, I m not overly concerned as mum was borderline at times when she used to give blood. Good job I'm not a hypochondriac though I could have had myself dead and buried already! The wonders of t'internet eh! I remember when FIL was diagnosed with his heart condition the day W was born I was on the net looking at the symptoms and giving DH a list of questions to ask the Docs as I would not go near the hospital with W at such a young age. Had MIL or SIL looked on the net they would have had him 6 ft under the day he was diagnosed. Whilst I was concerned I found it fascinating that I could find out all about it from the net and reassure DH and allay some of his fears.

Right did a HHI whilst neighbours was on, have sorted the post as well. Need to go and get A & W NOW!

Torianut sorry about your little one's ear. ENT surgeons vary about how keen they are on grommets. The grommets don't stop the infections necessarily (and you can't put them in if the ear is actively infected)but they do help drainage. of the fluid/glue and thus hearing. They will also take into account any hearing loss due to the build up in fluid behind the ear drum and whether the hearing loss fluctuates. Hope it settles soon!

Did well in my HHC, so well I got carried away and was 15 minutes late for my appointment, evil with nurse made me wait nearly an hour to be seen, my fault I suppose :o I didn't stress too much and just sat reading lots of magazines, free :D I haven't bought one for ages (trying to be good) so enjoyed that.

    Aimee great news!!!
Torianut, big hugs for you and little one.
Pigpen I think it's digging day as Sonic is aswell, he has those pet safe tubes etc to play with and a cat ball but he's just wanting to dig today, silly thing.

Went to my friend's after, got my cuddle :D think I was better doing that than phoning. Went to Lidl's, got the shop stock and a few things for us I buy from there seeing as I was there anyway, 2 big jars of nescafe gold for £6 :D that'll do nicely. DS2 at after school club so have an extra 20 minutes or so so I did vacuum through downstairs, need to unload DW and start filling the washer, then sort out the change for DP for tonight as I have got out of helping him run the club tonight :D night off, wohooo!
One day I might be more organised...........

Back frominvigilating - god it was boring I cut up slips of paper as I was the spare invigilator. Mum collecting DS3 from school, DS1 and 2 walked home together and are still being civil to each other - very odd.

Right need to get swimming stuff ready

Eat bargain Quality Street - you forgot to put this on lil_me, but I did it anyway!

And halfway up the stairs the vacuum cut out, and the motor feels really hot - hope it hasn't completely broken. It's out of guarantee...

I'm really pleased I got all that done in 30 minutes! I also took off the throws and put them in to wash, but didn't bother vacuuming the sofas. Too old, going to be replaced.

Off to collect children, then someone is coming to collect old desk (freecycle). Think I have also got rid of the old wardrobe too.
