    (((hugs for Torinut)))

Poor wee soul! He must feel terrible. Have they not referred you to a nose/throat/ear specialist? Hope he gets well soon and best of luck with the antibiotics. A syringe and a towel is the only way DS2 takes it.

Thanks Anw& Tia - hugs greatly appreciated!

No - not been referred yet although doc did say it looks like a weakness and may keep recurring - didn't think it would be back within a week though!

Might have to push for that after these AB's if it doesn't clear up properly as he is also due his MMR but keep putting it off because he is ill. - speaking of which how did your LO go after his Tracy??

Also forgot to wish happy birthday to pigpens DS earlier - have a lovely day xx

Torianut - hugs to you hun! DD1 suffered ear infections for over 2 years, was at docs at least once a month. We found out that amoxycillin (SP?) had no effect with her, everytime they prescribed it I would be back the week later with no improvement (or her in a worse state). Finally got referred for grommits which have helped no end. Still has them but nowhere near as often. May be worth taking a note of the antibiotic they prescribe that seems to have no effect.

HHC over and lounge is now all sparkly and twinkly. Dusted, hoovered, things chucked (paperwork) or put back (kids room) and walls and ceiling swept for cobwebs.

    Also hoovered hall and kitchen.

Have decided anyone coming in the lounge will think we are a bit "von-trapp" as we have DH electric guitar (bought before xmas cos he always wanted to learn and not touched after the first week:mad:  ), Nanny bought the girls a guitar each for xmas (real ones - why:confused: ) plus we also have the guitar for the wii guitar legends I bought DH for his birthday (which was the wrong one he wanted it for the PS3) so now the PS3 guitar too!

Pleased with flying now feel more up to date. Got some ironing I did last night to put away but getting back in control of the laundry situation:j .

The sleep thing is more to do with my brain never switching off these days, always something needs doing but yes a wandering W doesn't help!

And as to work, no she doesn't have a say. They are moving another girl as well so god only knows how we are supposed to carry on. If I said look at your local bank (ie my employers) Pigpen and tell me how many of them have been moved/replaced over the last couple of years and you'll get the idea what it's like. It will go down like a lead balloon with our customers I can tell you.

Better go chew on an iron nail and swig some guinness, back soon.

Actually ours has had the same 'core' staff for years and years and years... the young ones have changed a lot though.. and there is a new 'manager' every 15 minutes! I'm sure she will still be your friend though :D.. and you never know.. they might move her back.

    enjoy your guinness lol

Thanks Shell - it is amoxycillin he has had - although the second time he had a different type but they took a swab and phoned us on 3rd day to change back to amoxycillin  - can I ask what is involved with grommits? the nurse OH saw last ime did mention them as a possibility in the future.
