I seem to remember the BBC recommending the use of a commercial search engine called Google when you clicked into the BBC web site.

I think the watchdog needs to bone up on the commercial realities of the internet age.

Now who is going to make me an offer for my eye balls?

I'm wondering if anyone could help me. I watched a program last night about money and i'm convinced it was on one of bbc's channels only i can't find anything to do with money at that sort of time in their schedule. It was around 11pm-3amish and martin was on it helping people cut down on their outgoings/producing more money for it. They had a website at the end (it wasn't mse ;)) I really want to know what the website was.

This was on last night too. All three are on iPlayer
  • Anyone else listen to Moneybox this afternoon? Martin's name came up in a piece about getting your debts written off. I was suprised when the presenter, Paul Lewis, said that Martin is 'not my colleague' and then went on to say that 'he's not a journalist'. I guess he's right about not being a colleague although Martin has appeared on Moneybox a number of times. But as someone who, amongst other things, writes regularly for several newspapers he's definitely a journalist and has won awards for this work. The programme will be available on BBC iPlayer and is always worth a listen anyway. I know they're not related but I thought Paul and Martin were friends!

I'm sure Martin was just introduced as "Martin Lewis from moneysupermarket.com" on Radio 5...
