ONLY 12 crumpets MrsM ?
Actually I used to be able to go through a pack of 6-8 in a day, easily ! what a blessing divide and freeze is !
Good luck with the soup, pigpen - maybe some herbs in there if you have them ? I haven't forgotten about your soup request but I'll probably sit down sometime this evening when I have more time and write out a general list of my own personal soup making tips, bit like that bimbling ramble I did yesterday that some people seemed to have found useful :P Well, if TPTB want more less chat and more information then they are going to get it until its coming out of their ears :rotfl: even though it is daily getting more like an episode of The Prisoner..
"Where am I?"
"In the Village."
"What do you want?"
"Information."
"Whose side are you on?"
"That would be telling…. We want information. Information!INFORMATION!"
"You won't get it."
"By hook or by crook, we will."
But anyway, let's keep our senses of humour firmly intact and our feet on the ground. We can still keep to the point AND have fun and be warm, friendly and welcoming ! Big wave to :hello: all the people who posted in support and especially you lovely lurkies
Due to me tenants running me ragged haven't managed to eat a blessed thing this morning. I have to dash into town just after I go off duty too, to pick up a couple of things from the shops and if I don't go now then I won't be able to go until this time next week ! so sadly it looks like a first meal of the day at 3pm thing, and realistically speaking it will be a grab something from Waitrose sarnie. Still, I can stock up on fruit and veg whilst I'm there, and I am going to at least try and have a glass of milk before I go.
Hope everyone has a good day !

Hello Everyone!
B: Porridge
L: Leftover lentil and veggie sausage stew thing (lovely - I haven't done anything with lentils for ages, I'd forgotten they were yum!)Salmon and something (veg/rice?)
I haven't posted for a day or two, but have been reading. (Was a bit scared of posting something that was disallowed and being banished! ) I love this thread, it is so friendly, welcoming, helpful and informative. I think its a great shame if people can't support each other in whichever way they want to (be it chatty, a little off topic or otherwise). We are all trying to lose weight in an OS way whilst saving heaps of money.:j There isn't anywhere else like it.
Anyway, I'll shut up now. I'm off to the depths of the freezer to log what's there. I may be some time!
Thanks to all you lovely lot for all the tips, support and laughs.

Hi All
todays meal plan is:-
Breakfast - 2 x weetabix
Lunch - 1 roll spread with lowfat garlic & herb philly
Dinner - HM pizza and salad.
As its HM I shall have lots of veggie toppings on mine and just a sprinkle of cheese over it;) - gotta make up for the 3 curly wurly incident yesterday somehow;) . I have baked a banana and chocolate cake which I plan to freeze at least half off. Am also making an apple crumble but with dessert apples so no need for added sugar there:D . I love baking thats my problem, I try a recipe and if the others dont like it I end up scoffing it all myself.
I also plan to join Pigpen in her workout session tomorrow. Half term is coming up so need to get exercise routine in place as last summer hols I put on half a stone, just 'cos I was not doing the trips back and forward to nursery and school:eek: . Hope to bike little to Nursery once the weather improves (if ever).0 -
Afternoon O/S loosers :hello:
Normal service has resumed , I'm hereCome on peeps, there is no need for us to be disheartened by what was said yesterday. I bet I've had more posts deleted than the rest of you put together but I'm still here
( )
I dont know why my posts were deleted? It's not as if I ever go off topic talking about the Tadpoles, work or Cadburys Creme Eggs or anything is it? Funny?
Anyway today I had a fruit salad for brekkie , houmous salad for lunch and we'll be having chill for tea saving me a FORTUNE as it is all HM
I've saved QUIDS by not buying binge food today or using extra petrol in the car to drive there, saved more not buying slimming mags and not going to WW tonight so that's another £5 in me pocket
Should have been going to a councillor tonight for me "head problems" but chatting on here means I don't have to so that saved me £80 consultation feeAlso, don't need to phone Auntie Nell in Oz to moan about my weight as I can chat to you all and get support from you so saved the price of a phone call too
Gosh you know what that all means ? This thread aint arf saving me money

Yay frogga's back!! Always more fun with you about
Been to sainsbugs and got lots of healthy food. No cake. Except got some biscuits as friends are coming over for coffee at the weekend and I won't have time to bake anythingLess likely to eat bought biscuits though than hm flapjacks etc
Got some more Kale for my calcium intake. But skipped my walk today as I didn't sleep well and fell really knackered.
Will walk tomorrow though, rain or not.
Oh yeah - so saved loads in sainsbugs because I walked past the cakes aisle, scanned the biscuits quickly and didn't buy the really expensive packs that would have been eaten by me before all the friends came. And I saved because I'd filled up the basket with veg and couldn't carry too much more eitherworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Back on the wagon today!
Had big but healthy brekkie (porridge and banana and some pineapple). Then went to pilates. Then lunch of homemade veggie chilli and a few potato wedges. The chilli had 4 different beans/pulses and 9 different veg so ultra-good stuff.
