You appear to be looking at the https://www.dialwise.co.uk which only gives you the rates from a UK Landline. The 4p rate is to a UK(Mobile) the original rate you quoted 15p is to a personal 070 number.
Iceburn and Rabiallones appear to be talking about calls from a 3 mobile.PF.0 -

or another one?
because i thought 3 did not allow this no. on inc. mins.
Iceburn is referring to https://www.pre-dial.com if yo go to there site and look at the free destination list, you will see that they have two other access numbers.
07976 827 878 Orange and 07730 666 890 O2.These offer calls to certain destinations at certain times.(Not as many options as Simply Fone alas).
Because these are proper Mobile Network numbers codes, unlike 07744 .They should be included in 3,s cross network minutes.Unless they have twigged them.PF.0 -
be careful
they're charging lots for these numbers now!0 -

What do you mean they,re charging lots. Can you be more specific what numbers you are on about, who is charging lots, and how much. Thanks.PF.0 -
Just tried using the dialwise no to ring a mobile this morning, second time I have tried and the second time I have had problems. Wonder if the problem is because my calls are routed through OneTel?
Anyway, for the time being I have unrouted my mobile because I still have about 19.50 left of my 20.00 initial call credit with OneTel:p
Once this is used up, will route mobile calls through 18866/1899. I'm pretty sure someone said that Dialwise belongs to the same group of companies? If this is the case, I am hoping that they will review the charges for 18866/1899 shortly as well.0 -

Yes it was me.
I doubt if they will reduce the prices. All the companies in the same group the three you have mentioned plus
budgetcom.telediscount.dialaround.telesavers.telestunt.cheapestcalls.
pennyphone.(There are possibly more we dont know about yet).
tend to compete against each other with different prices, for some routes.
PS.Why use Dialwise to access mobiles at weekends 1899/18866 is cheaper, and BT is cheaper to some networks, and Onetel are also.

It was a call to an orange phone, and I believe that dialwise is still cheaper than OneTel at the weekend (just). I know that 1899/18866 is cheaper again, but I am trying to think of inventive ways of using my 20.00 call credit with OneTel;)0 -
