NTL will charge you to phone the 0844 number,i dont know what there tariff is.If you choose to dial an 07744 access no after that, another charge is not raised, its all part of the original call.

Ok, so if you have an Orchid dialler and you program it to prefix mobile calls with 0844 428 46 46 do you need to program in a pause before you send the actual mobile number you are dialling???? For example itf I've got a pre-programmed phone (which I assume most people have) i'll select the persons mobile I want to call and press the button. Now, behind the scenes the Orchard is prefixing it with the o844 number but then does it need to wait for a tone (or similar) before sending the actual mobile number???

    Thanks cloud_dog

I assume you have now set up your dialler with the above? I have but find that when that nice lady says..."...and the call cost is...." it cuts off at that vital moment and then continues dialling - so you never quite get to hear that reassurance of (presumably) 4p/min!! Do you/others find the same?

Yes. I think it will be a case of keep a very careful eye on your call charges or rely on the good folk on this website to warn us as soon as things change.

for mm66, you can use pre-dial orange / o2 access number and than call aboard using your three inclusive minutes. Goto http://www.pre-dial.com/ to get the access number.
