I'm leaving this one up to fate. I bought it for youngest daughter's birthday next month, but if I don't get it, she'll never know. I'm living in hope though!

Anyway if I upset Play they might jump back onto that van and whip it back again!:D

Fully cancelled and no reply to my offical complaint a letter will be sent to head office demanding they send me one otherwise i will cancel my account with them and as a play trader and customer for 4 years speding on average 300 or so pounds a year im not taking this one im affraid play have shown exactly what kind of company they are.

Mine was cancelled, and I sent a complaint, and I got a fob off, and not even an apology..
I doubt us closing our accounts will make any difference to them either, all the millions(probably) of customers they have anyway.

But it will make me feel better and if more and more people start doing that then they will have to take notice vote with your clicks people. At the end of the day if you tell another person of their faluire they will tell others buisnesses work on word of mouth and on forums like this. They need to know this level of service will not be tollerated. Im surprised that MSE has not gotten involoved as there is a glaring discrepency of service,shame that really.

Got mine today too. Was just leaving the house to go back to work after lunch and the Royal Mail van drew up. Lucky timing.

Have to say it's even better than I expected - for example I thought the trunk would be flimsy cardboard, and in fact it's pretty solid (though still cardboard, obviously), with metal hinges/lock.

Showed oldest daughter it this evening, and she is absolutely green with envy.

ok some you win - some you lose BUT

my money was taken out of my account immediately and i then had an email saying sorry cant supply and they will refund about 6 days after order.

Now 14 days later still no refund - rang today and i need to post copies of bank statement etc to claim my refund -

utterly disgusting and i told them so !!! :mad:
