Strange.....THe highlight of today's meal seemed to be the home made tartare sauce...... mayo (LF) from a jar, 1tsp mustard mayo, 1 gherkin finely chopped, couldn't get any capers.... saved a bit of £ there and then I had the end of a bottle of LF caesar dressing in the fridge... 1tbsp probably. So not even really tartare sauce! Shan't buy the jar stuff again. AND dd said that she didn't smell fish when she came in, only the mushy peas! Will try again. haven't posted in this thread before.... I did, but message seems to have gone.
THis is a lovely thread, I shall revisit when iI'm short of inspiration.
Today: HM fish cakes, hm mushy peas and hm wedges
Tomorrow: quiche lorraine hm or vegi cheese and onion
Saturday: Pasta bake ( turkey and mushroom or mushrrom and cheese)
Sunday: MIL's I hope
Other days
1:HM pizza
2:Bol hm(reg or vegi)
3: Burgers hm/bean burgers... not done those, no recipe, but cooked beans today
4: Jacket potatoes (may be used as substitute if I end up in a hurry!)"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
