Very true, i used to work in one a few years back and the only things that aren't microwaved are the steaks, burgers and chips. The rest of the menu comes in pre-packaged microwave ready meals.

I'm sick and tired of people trying to run other peoples lives. What gives anyone the right to say kids should have a limited time in a public house!? If they're bored i'm sure THEY can tell their parents themselves!

This is the way this country seems to be going these days and it really irritates me. I'm not a smoker but I have friends who are. The smoking ban was a ridiculous decision in my opinion. There should always be a freedom of choice but people just seem to want to put a downer on people's lives. It's a free world and nobody owns it. Please let everyone live in peace and get on with your own lives!

Well, me and the OH went last night for our burger deal and I don't give a flying fcuk what anyone else thinks cos it was rather nice actually,so there!!
And better for you than a Mcdonalds I should imagine as the chips weren't swimming in salt.

I think their screaming, running around the place and throwing stuff is kinda them trying to tell their parents they're bored.

Sadly, this is a little subtle for all too many parents...

Thats called having children! Correct me if i'm wrong but the main reason of living!

Some people are soooo selfish! why don't you stay at home in your "private" house if you don't like what goes on in "public" houses?

I think they should create a public house, something called "the whingers arms" where there's no children, no smoking, the drinks are all alcohol free with no gambling machines. And losen the restrictions on all the public houses elsewhere. That way all these people can go to the "whingers arms" and moan about everyone else while everyone else is enjoying themselves!!!

You're right, some people *are* selfish.

When I go to a pub, I don't inflict myself in any way on others around me. People who sit minding their own business shouldn't be forced out by inconsiderate morons.

Is the short version.

I don't like people like you there when I go out. But I just get on with my own life with a smile on my face thinking why oh why. It's superb
