I am so proud of my 7 year old son. He asked for a cd player for his birthday and I got him the £11.97 value one. He opened it this morning and said 'oh, value, that means it's good and you haven't been ripped off!' - start them young!

  • Ha! No, red white and blue is patriotic, look at it like that as it is more positive! Besides, if Tesco change the colour of he Value range now it won't necessarily blend with the colour of my pantry - a light blue colour!!! LOL!

Hope the tea was good, and don't forget to use the teabag a second time like I do! :rotfl:

    All the best for 2008.

All the supermarkets make their cheap ranges as ugly as possible to scare off those people who are not *absolutely* motivated by price, and deposit them onto the identical, but higher margin lines.

Yes, it's really horrible. My GF refuses to let me buy "value" orange juice etc which tastes exactly the same as the normal own brand Tesco juice but half the price - she's too ashamed. I'm more ashamed of wasting money unnecessarily. :money:
