I have bought Value nappies to give them a try and they have put the ugliest pictures ever on the sticky bit!! It must be to get you to buy posher ones cos surely it doesnt cost anymore to put nice pics than ugly ones??!
There is an evil looking red and yellow bunny that looks like it has a tattoo on its chest and an angry bearded man!!!! I wish I could upload pics onto this site to show you all! so funny!!

but just think, your cupboards will be colour coordinated. Millions pay good money for advice on how to acheive a colour scheme of matched products and not only are you getting the look for free you're getting good products for a lot less than others pay0

Personally I don't care what the other folks at the supermarket think but there seems to be a source of pride where I work at spending as much as poss at the supermarket "...I spent £150 this week (yes week) and still had to pop out because there was nothing to make a meal with...etc" and they all laugh and agree - don't like to say I spend less than that a month or they'll accuse me of depriving my child.Mortgage OP 2025 £7550/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Its funny Mum and I were saying this the other day when I came home with Sainsburys Lemonade and a few other value bits,
I joked with Mum that (since we live in a fairly posh area - well sainsburys is in the posh bit) I should have just put my hand up and yelled I am POOR ok everyone!!
I mean their stuff is a horrible Orange colour!
xxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
God me too!!! If I'm feeling flush I spend £40 a week and I have 2 kids!!
Love the colour scheme idea - thinking of redecorating the walls to match now! May even have "Value" written on a feature wall somewhere!!0 -

Now there's a thought maybe we should choose our supermarkets by whether their value colours are appealing to the eye. Asda's is quite a nice light green so isnt quite as obvious as Tesco or Sainsbury's...maybe I should start shopping there!!0 -
Ahhh, what I do is this....
If someone is looking over say in a very loud voice, whilst studying your list 'God I cant read her awful writing' - sorted, they think its for your Granny!!0 -

All the supermarkets make their cheap ranges as ugly as possible to scare off those people who are not *absolutely* motivated by price, and deposit them onto the identical, but higher margin lines."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
