wonder if they will honour applications posted today???
nobody elae will be able to apply now anyway as you can no longer download the application form and I assume no longer available in branch or on the the freephone line? freephone line is still open tonight for recorded message for applications they should have closed that line aswell

thing is how will we know if application is to late? I will desperately need my cheque back as I cant reinvest elsewhere until I know one way or tother

Just got through to Chelsea after 15 minutes holding on!!!

they wiil honour issued application forms so long as you get your cheque into them by January 14th:T :T :T :T

Do you know if it applies if opening at a branch?

from what I understand they will honour all completed applications so if you got one form the branch or downloaded one before thay went offline then you should still be ok

The 6.65% fixed rate will be honoured until 18th Jan when all applications have to be in by, so some leeway for posting

Why not wait for the new bond; 6.70% apparently!

0.20% on 9,000 is quite a bit (wife is tax free), it was just a thought.

Actually just did the sums and its only £18 over the year, less if we take it monthly.

I wonder who failed to do their sums properly.
