Stripped off the bed first thing and put the linen in the wash. Pegged it out on the line despite it being dull and still outside. A bit later the sun came out and the wind got up a bit and it dried fine 😊
Cleaned the bathroom, did a little bit in the garden (rescued some of the geraniums from the garden troughs - dug them out, trimmed them down a bit and put them in pots in the greenhouse, as we had a bit of frost last night). I have a couple more in the front garden to do maybe tomorrow. I will do some cuttings from the bits I trim off. Free plants for next year.
Dinner was leftover fridge gravel pasta bake with some salad and a piece of toast (as there wasn't much and we shared what there was). I will do a roast tomorrow.

@grandmanerd its good to see that the rest and sleep are helping you. It’s easy to say try not to feel overwhelmed at the to do list I know. You are always so good at listening to your body though. I am inspired by your comment on drinking plenty of water and am going to up my intake. It sounds and it is a ridiculous thing for me to say when we have access to free clean water. I do drink lots of cups of tea and like it weak but am on a mission now to up my water!
today I’m grateful for the sunshine, the birdsong, and our darling dog. We’ve had her in our family for two months now and she has eased the sadness over losing our beloved dog early in summer. She’s very sweet and loving.7 -
Lovely sunny day here but very cold. A couple of things on washing line and the rest is on the airer.

Colder here too @beanielou even though we seem to be at opposite ends of the uk! I have put my washing out too, and as the wind is blowing it will dry to some extent before it needs to go on the airer.
I have removed another couple of geraniums from the front garden and will pot them up in a minute. That only leaves one, but it is so big and old I think I will leave it in situ and let it bloom until the frost takes it. Sometimes they even make it through the winter outside here. I have taken some cuttings off it anyway. I need to pot these up too.

My surgery on my lower back has been postponed I think until March - if I can stand it that long. Staggering from chair to chair right now. If my roommates weren't such disasters, I would feel better about leaving the house for a couple of days. But one of my roommates fell yesterday - and the other roommate couldn't remember how to call the paramedics! Here it is 911 and she couldn't remember it. I think the cats are feeling the stress too - 2 of them have thrown up this morning. Must dos this winter:
Buy new mattress. Clean up the room so we can get it in there and the old one out.
Raise the money for the property taxes.
Change two roommates.
Lower blood sugar and stress rate so I can have the surgery. Get other medical problems out of the way.
Get new false teeth and new glasses.
We will see if I can do all five.
Currently expecting the remnants of Hurricane Trudy to come through here for the next couple of days. It may be the real thing this time.

I hope things get easier for you soon @weenancyinAmerica 😔
Work today so not much else done. Nothing spent though!
Used pak choi and mustard leaves from the garden in tonight's stir fry, along with various fridge gravel and the last of Sunday's roast pork joint.
Fire is alight, as it is cold tonight (lots of rain earlier which made it seem even colder). Seems like winter has arrived. Now relaxing on the sofa with the dog.

Hugs weenancy and hoping your efforts bear results.

Oh me, oh my. I disappeared off again. EHCP nonsense with the council. Big sighs. But also very grateful for being able to chase and pester them. Is it resolved? Nope. But I will shelve it until Monday.
And move onto PIP gubbins. Well, tomorrow anyway.
Have had a lovely visit from my sister for several days, which was fab. Lots of nattering and stuff. It's so good to just chat with someone who knows me so well and who is always on my side and needs nothing explaining.
I really appreciate my gym visits. Fab community there. And I now find that when I've not been for a couple of days, by day 3 I really really need to get there and lift heavy things 🤣. It's my therapy (as well as continuing to take the pills!)
Take care in the storm that weeNancy is sending over to us.
beanie - how is your son getting on? Does he enjoy teaching?
