I don't even know where to start!
You MUST appeal this one in my view!
Did you ask for permission to appeal? If not then it goes to the Circuit Judge but you need the right legal wording. You can't let this lie but get assistance to see it through.
Contact Contestor Legal on Monday asap.
The CCJ does temporarily remain whilst you appeal but no bailiffs come round. Nothing will happen but yes there is a CCJ while it is (surely…?!) sorted out on appeal to a circuit judge.
She has made so many calculation mistakes and she CANNOT allow 'a penalty'. Any circuit judge would see that.
If you win, they (usually) have to pay your costs and the decision is overturned.

You generally can't use those if a case has already reached court stage.
@Edvance_Guy
I'd be emailing Contestor Legal this weekend if it were me. This will - surely? - be overturned on appeal, in our view (with the caveat that there is always litigation risk but you found that out already and no judge could be more wrong than her).You DON'T pay the judgment if you are appealing. You have to take the hit to your credit score while the appeal progresses and you pay some up front fees but should recoup them.
I say that because I have never seen such an almost certain appeal win. She needs stopping.
@Johnersh is your flabber ghasted?!

Yes, you're pinned into a position where you have to appeal really. But, at the end of it it might turn out to be a silver lining.
Talk to Contestor as advised.

Let us know what Contestor Legal say when they hear what this judge said about:
- deciding that a parking firm doesn't need to prove landowner authority when it's a pre-requisite of the DVLA KADOE contract under which parking firms get keeper data and cannot be presumed;
- allowing the double recovery fake fee - not specified on the signs - as a penalty(!) and using that word to justify her decision, and
- how she completely messed up the interest and layered double recovery on top of a claim that had already layered on fake double recovery costs which go against the Supreme Court findings in Beavis.
Their service is not cheap - and you'll have to pay a court fee to ask for leave to appeal - but this is how to get this decision overturned. And they'll ask the Circuit Judge to award all your costs back from the Claimant in the end.
This decision cannot stand but you have to act quickly to lodge the appeal (and if appealing, DO NOT pay the sum she ordered).
She was wrong on every level.

So i need to contact contesor? Any idea of the cost ?
I am trying to buy a property and so I don't need an CCJ so may just had to pay the 390 in the 28 days! I would at least like a copy of the judgement but I was told that could take 6 weeks!!!!
Also I hold a clearance for a gov role and CCJ is not an option!!! So if it has to land to appeal I won't I will pay it! Can I make a complaint about the judge? I have to move out in 4 months as my landlord has decided since labours disaster or a 'rent reform act' I need to find a new home, I can't rent or buy in my area and in this market with CCJ, it seems a perfect storm.
I emailed 16/09 the court and called the national helpline and no info has been sent - at a national level the judgement had not be added to the system the the debt showing was £166.55.
The local court email has yielded no response so far what are my options for getting a copy?
I challenged the judge on the interest amount of £140.69 and she told me I should leave now!

Costs would be the £147 fee, plus you'd likely have to pay for a transcript (probably £120ish).
The point of using Contestor though is their skill at getting costs back from the other side.
An appeal is only granted if the judge erred in law, which is fairly obvious.
But talk to Jackson - he might have other ideas about the miscalculation alone.
You have 21 days to seek permission to appeal.5 -
so u have contact details for jackson its been 16 days!
If the judgement isn't paid at 28 days if its entered against me I can't have that fundamentally?
