Reason power perks electricity free hours has gone quiet is electricity on a weekend has become increasingly expensive, Sunday saver as it was probably unstainable.

As you would expect at this time of year when there isn't an abundance of green power in the grid. Just look at Agile prices for today, been 26/27p most of the day here.
Happily charging my car and getting EDF Go low rate whilst I do the washing and get it dried though so it's not all bad.

Not really all gone quiet.
I have used five of the introduction free "bonus" hours today to charge the car and do two loads of washing, dishwasher, charge mobile phone, powerbank, laptop, electric heating in the house, electric immersion heater so we reduce the gas load this evening. I understand the "bonus" hours can be selected at any time within a year.
The app shows me the trend for the month so far at 6.3% so I am on track to earn 25 hours. The Flextras period runs monthly (instead of weekly as per Sunday Saver) and started 5th October with 10 days to go, so will end 30th October. We can probably manage loads OK next week but will potentially be less successful in the final week as we'll be on holiday so loads will be just more "flat" baseload. Hopefully, by the end of next week, we will be sufficiently ahead that the baseload period is not significant against the whole month.
I must admit, the Flextras, operating on a monthly basis rather than weekly will be much harder to "game". I have no doubt EDF were aware of that in setting the rules.

A little too far ahead for accurate forecasting but AgilePredict is anticipating plunge pricing next weekend which could bode well for some free Power Perks hours 24/25th.

Where are you seeing that in the App… are you having to download and analyse the data?

In the app, from the home page, go to "Energy Hub" the click the "Weekend Saver" icon

Is anybody else experiencing the same problem as me? I cannot choose the final hour (2pm- 3pm) because the screen refuses to scroll up far enough.
