Yes, it's at 4.55%.

They kept sending me regular (automated, I suspect) updates re the application... 'we're so sorry it's taking so long, we haven't forgotten you, please don't contact us we'll contact you' etc etc ....one Email mentioned that you'll get the rate that was available at the time of your application.

One plus point … tried the details provided this morning, COP passed immediately and the £1 test payment arrived instantly.

17 days and counting for me… looks like they've lost my passport details

Half of me wants to see the application through out of sheer bloody-mindedness, the other half is inclined to leave it where it is...

I have had a number of emails apologising for the delay since I applied. I also happen to have a current account with NatWest.

Finally got an email today to let me know my account has been opened! So applied on 26/08 and opened on 18/09!!! Must be some kind of record
