What are you looking forward to doing/getting when you get out of debt?

I want to reduce my hours down to 4 days a week instead of the 5, 6 or even 7 I do now
. I also want to overpay my mortgage and have it paid off by my late forties. I also want the freedom to feel I can downscale my job as sometimes the stress of it makes me shake and feel sick. Trouble is, I need this salary level to keep paying the debt and it is awful to be in a job you don't really enjoy just to keep a roof over your head. Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time :mad:0 -
I am overpaying my mortgage now the bulk of the debt is cleared. I only have a loan to settle, but its on a lower interest rate than the mortgage so I am happy to just pay it every month, although I am considering using the offset funds to pay it off in full (the only option), just to clear it once and for all.
Once the mortgage is cleared - I will look forward to having £1000 more to myself every month!
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

But generally just not having to constantly worry about money and not being able to do the little things that I want to do and can't like just going to lunch with friends!
