I want to reduce my hours down to 4 days a week instead of the 5, 6 or even 7 I do now . I also want to overpay my mortgage and have it paid off by my late forties. I also want the freedom to feel I can downscale my job as sometimes the stress of it makes me shake and feel sick. Trouble is, I need this salary level to keep paying the debt and it is awful to be in a job you don't really enjoy just to keep a roof over your head.
Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time

    Mortgage-free Glee!
I am overpaying my mortgage now the bulk of the debt is cleared. I only have a loan to settle, but its on a lower interest rate than the mortgage so I am happy to just pay it every month, although I am considering using the offset funds to pay it off in full (the only option), just to clear it once and for all.

Once the mortgage is cleared - I will look forward to having £1000 more to myself every month!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • I would love to travel round the world and get into more debt by getting a place of my own!

But generally just not having to constantly worry about money and not being able to do the little things that I want to do and can't like just going to lunch with friends!

    One day we'll get there!
Proud to be dealing with my debts!

A prostitute and a pot noodle. But not in that order.

  • The first thing I am going to do is jump in the air and scream "WOOOOHOOOOOO" really loudly. Then I'll probably get into debt again somehow.

I think I want pretty much everything everyone on here as mentioned.

Well apart from the prostitute and pot noodle :rotfl:

I can't wait to start doing up my house, we have been here 10 years now and things are beginning to look tired.

We need a new sofa and I would LIKE a new flat screen TV. Both which I will buy with cash.

OMG the day I look at my account and its not in the overdraft I will probably cry.
