Great thread, thanks OP.
I have all sorts of things I am looking forward to. The main one however, is never having to have decisions made for me because I am in debt.*Everybody wants prosthetic foreheads on their real heads*

I would like to be able to buy my own home, despite being on 2 decent wages we just cannot get on the property ladder for anything like we would want (only 2 bedrooms needed!) aberdeenshire is expensive!
I would like to be able to go on a foreign holiday every year, instead of stressing over paying for it every 2 years as of late....
I would like to drive an Audi TT (one day i will... altho i betcha when i get it, i'll hate it!) Maybe even a R8, which is sleeker still but pure fantasy!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
y'know if i wasnt seeing a blonde, you'd fit well in my life!!! lol!!!Buffythedebtslayer wrote: »going on holiday to a hot place with a beach and swimming pool and drinks with umbrellas in.
not worrying about my bank account every thirty seconds.
buying the most expensive games console and lots of games.
I am going to think about this seriously and stick a list up somewhere to remind me.
deffo buying a ps3 or equivelant (probably a ps43 by the time I'm debt free) a BIG t.v (not because i need one, because i WANT one) and a big holiday. yup. i'm sure theres more i can think of....... other than the whole NOT counting every penny obsessionally.....I am one of the 63336.'It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep.'

I have a list as long as IA diary but my main simple one would be to decide at the drop of a hat to go out for sunday dinner without worrting about DD's still to come off/how far away from pay day we are etc.

That is SO true!!!!! It restricts so many choices!0 -
Still having money in my account a fortnight after payday!!!
No longer being scared of the phone ringing;
Being able to look forward to getting post as opposed to completely dreading it;
Having a holiday once every few years as opposed to once every 10 years (and that's only because I won it!).
Ultimately, I always feel completely content when I know there's savings in my account. If any bills come in, who cares, I can pay them! I dread when the savings account says £0.00 in it as it means any bill that comes in, I won't be able to pay. Quite frankly, that's terrifying to me.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
