Does anyone know how I try to find an NHS dentist for my children?
Our practice is changing to private and I feel I should find an NHS dentist for my children so they don't have to pay as much when they're older. I've googled and can't find the website that can help me.
Thanks xxJanuary budget

DH has a job!!! It's only part-time and it's with a temp agency, so he'll probably have to start a new job next week, but it's a start - in an hour!
He's off in fifteen minutes, so baby and I are back on our own. Bit sad really, we've loved having him here, but we need the money now, so we'll just have to make the most of him at weekends.
HHC was a sort-of success. Bedroom looks better at any rate. Got a call halfway through from our local children's centre though, so was a little disrupted. I've become a real "community" type now and they've asked me to choose all of the dates for the parents forums and sort out all of the proposals. I'm very excited! I have loads of ideas on how to improve things (it's for parents of the under-fives) and I see this as a real opportunity to do some good. Gosh, now I sound like a busy-body type! What I mean is, when Owen was a baby, I was a real mess. I had PND and I was absolutely miserable, vulnerable and had no idea how to be a parent. I'm just hoping that we can make the sort of centre where people like me can come and just have a coffee, a chat and a break when they're overwhelmed. Our centre offers tips on just about everything, but we need to be better advertised. At the moment, people don't ealise that it's not just medical help that's offered, but a real sense of community, friendship and family. Can you tell I'm excited??? What would you girls like in a centre like that? What would you like to see in your own communities?
Well, DH has just left and baby is now awake. Best wishes for DIL Embb, hope she gets better soon.
Keep on plugging away flyladies - will be back soon. Hopefully with some more to show for my efforts. Time to take more ebay piccies!0 -

That great news maralum, we're in the same position. DH lost his job at the start of december so this month has been fun:o He's managing to do bits and pieces but nothing decent yet. Just glad i could pick up extra shifts at my work, and i made pretty good money as its a good time of year for my work. Its a shame they messed up my paycheck this week:mad:Although means i get a bigger one next week:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

They cannot kick you off their books and HAVE to keep you on as an NHS patient even if they are private!!! They stop sending out reminders though so you need to keep track!.. Oirs did the same and ended up keeping us on when I threatened them with legal action.. we then found a much nicer dentist who the children think is fantastic.. I woudn't know.. I don't go.. I make hubby take them!

Right.. I braved DS1's sty.. I got a bag of recyclables, a bag of rubbish.. AND another basket of dirty laundry.. that is 3 full baskets I've taken from his room in the last 2 days.. he didn't even notice.. well today he will!!!
I need to vacuum his room now but can't do it yet as DD5 is in bed still.. I've sent hubby to pick up from school so she can sleep a bit longer as she is exhausted. I had to wake her up this morning.. poor pea!
Off to make a cuppa and peel some spuds for dinner.. Piggy is smelling divine!!.. ooh need some peas too..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
