I agree with powershopper - there is no such thing as "good quality but cheap".0

True, but you should still use the "Have I looked for it cheaper elsewhere?" part of Martin's Money Mantra.
However, there can be rare occasions where the best is actually cheaper: my genuine Pyrex 2L oval casserole dish was £3.49. The identical unbranded one in Matalan was £4.99.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Hello,
so many lovely cookie recipes on here that I want to try but I only have one tray so I wondered if any one new where I could get best value baking trays. Not necessary the cheapest but the best value for money.
Cheers for any advise - I never bought a baking tray in my lifealways used the ones I had with the oven, but one is just not enough...

I got mine from the local pound shop and they're every bit as good as Lakeland etc.0

Hi I bought one from Asda for £1.85. Its the best one I have ever had. I have scrubbed it with a scourer and it has not scratched at all.0

Hi FrenchMaid,
There was a recent thread on this that should help so I've added your post to it to keep all the suggestions together.
This older thread might help too:
What baking trays.cake tins etc do you use?

Unsure if its the right place to ask but I do remeber someone asking about them on here.
At the moment you can buy loaf tins, baking trays erm....muffin tins and a few other form the £1 shop, poundland that is. (unsure if its just mine though but though I's mention it). so i've picked up a loaf tine and a baking tray.
Even if they turn out to be naff you've only wasted a pound trying
hope it helps someone.
