    Have to disagree with you.

My personal ID was verified by Monzo yesterday in the email exchanges which took place.

Monzo are now on notice that there is either an issue in their customer records or an existing customer has deliberately notified the bank of an incorrect postal address for some unknown (but likely mischievous) purpose. Whilst the Bank/customer relationship is nothing whatsoever to do with me, if I do suffer inconvenience or financial loss, and the bank have not taken reasonable steps to prevent this happening, then I will be an aggrieved party.

There is no realistic route by which you will suffer financial loss from someone else (deliberately or not) using your address. "Inconvenience" is a very vague term - it would take a significant amount of it to make you an aggrieved party in any meaningful sense.

Should that happen at some future date then at that point you will have a reason expect communications from Monzo. At present however, as you have noted, this is an issue between Monzo and the other party - and there is no reason for Monzo to keep you updated about the progress if them resolving this issue.

I think some on this forum are trying to make this out to be far more of an issue than it really is. That's fine, it's ok for us to have a difference of opinion. As long as those same people accept that some of us just don't see this as a problem.
