Lovely flowers! I doubt the delivery lady was surprised - given some of the occasions people send flowers I bet she's had worse!

Brought washing in and ironed it. The napkins were bone dry but the tablecloth was just damp so ironed beautifully. Everything else ironed.

Back bedroom bed stripped. Front bedroom bed made. I appear to have only 2 double sheets so the back bedroom bed will have to wait - I like a top and bottom sheet then the duvet cover doesn't need washing quite as often. As it's a 4ft wide I don't want to be using king size sheets like I do on my bed - a deep double. I will make a mental note to keep an eye out for sales. When DD was in there she had her own bedding.

Dresses are drying off in the bedroom window - I steam iron so have to air everything.

WUALTD and half a binbag dance done.

Thursday's list is up early as I will be watching Sir Jude Bellingham get at least 2 past Martinez

I managed to fill two carrier bags for charity yesterday. Today I seem to have been busy doing life admin, paying for car tax and making/changing appointments and so on. Popped out to the bugs, and remembered about the bags for charity when I put the shopping in the boot. I need to pop to the CS tomorrow, but will be decluttering the ensuite bathroom first thing - so I'll be doing the Thursday boudoir tasks straight after.

Today we visited DD1 and DGD2 (who is still unwell), then took six bags of books to the charity shop. The local busker took pity on us and carried some of them! They were heavy even though I spread them out into more bags. Then we had lunch out which was a nice treat. Back home and picked up DGD4 from school and brought her back for tea. Last time this school year. Time flies. I did do a washload this morning but apart from that just the normal dailies.

I took the filthy car to the car wash. It's a really fancy car wash with a travellator to move the car round the various cleaning and drying zones. Car in neutral, hands off steering wheel and through you go. It absolutely terrifies me but it certainly gets the car clean and shiny.

hall cleaned and lounge looking ok. Bathroom looking ok and towels were washed and dried.

Had a useful call from the District Nursing Matron about my dad. Fingers crossed she will be a good contact and will be helpful in supporting with dad's care.

Paid stuff done, ran the hoover around, made tea, and tried to help DH with the garden. The garden is proving to be too much now that DH is working full time, it's needs a serious rethink. Trying to get the LR painted is just adding to the stress.

Tired tonight, I woke up at 4am all of a fluster, some sort of bad dream.

Oh and Valli I am glad it's not just me that uses a top sheet, I always have done!

After I posted it occurred to me that I must have some more double bed sheets so I had a good look in a deep drawer and found some, so both beds made with top and bottom sheets - I can swap beds if I get too hot!

Binbag dance completed and bin out - hardly anything in it as per.

Morning all, I haven't managed to join in much this week as I have been busy at placement.

My list for today

• Feed the animals and walk the dog
• Load DW and switch it on
• Make a back to school shopping list
• Find the item sold on V and package it up
• Post V order
• Take the kids to the free family event that is on at the local country park
• Check banking and make payments
• Spend an hour on business admin
• Spend an hour on placement admin
• Spend an hour on uni coursework
• Spend an hour on exam revision
• Wipe down the kitchen worktops
• Dust the living room
• Sort my bag, clothes and lunch for tomorrow

I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday.

Good afternoon

I got up at 7 to take my new meds, then read for an hour before having breakfast, a brew, and my old meds.

I'm dressed! That's a step further than I was yesterday

I've made my bed, turned over the calendars, fed the birds, put out the recycling, filled the birdbath and the hedgehog's dish, and WULTD.

P & S called for a coffee and chat.

I'm tired now.

Good to see you Round! (Pollybear mentioned tiredness-after-treatment and she's not wrong. I find anything involving anaesthetic debilitating)

Washing on the line. Bins brought back in. Quick sort through wool stash and some complete, banded balls sorted for the crafter's bazaar. I have half a stall booked (thus ensuring there is someone to mind the stall when necessary).

I've also listed all the cards I need for the rest of the year so I can get them all in one fell swoop,

valli - I buy all my cards online from whistle 🐟. They are based in Cornwall and the cards are not expensive but are very nice quality. They are always doing deals which mean that cards can work out at great value but look very classy.
