Business could employ a number of techniques however these tend to cost money that companies are unwilling to spend.

As mentioned already an exit barrier is an easy fix.

So, why did nobody on the Motoring board know that the OP can simply appeal to PEye with a copy of the shop receipt (without admitting to driving) and ParkingEye will cancel it?!

Wrong board. Wrong advice at first.

Appeal with a copy of the receipt/bank statement without implying if the keeper was driving. It'll be accepted. Scam over.

Your question does not come into it at all ….never has ……as it makes unregulated robo claimers no money. They are not a authority just a bunch of tryhards threatening the public with leagal speak which is mostly incorrect ...

Anyone who thinks or believes private parking robo claiming is about responsible parking management is 100% deluded ….couldnt be more wrong !

They are unregulated so do anything they want or can get away with ….pre small claims .

Its highly doubtful you or others will post pro private parking opinion for long or at all .As the regular posters deal in contract law reality ….with a very good winning track record .
