- I have chemo on Wednesdays and get myself a nice lunch at the M&S on site. It’s covered by food budget, I could take my own lunch but reckon I deserve the treat. I do take snacks from home 😁
- Started getting a few presents for youngest’s July birthday. I was originally (before my return to the DFD board) going to upgrade/trade in his iPad as it’s a few years old now, but it’s not needed and our budget is £100 so would have blown it. I’ve bought him a few bits I know he’ll like so far, still a few more bits to get but will stick to the £100.

It’s been nice to be back, it really focusses me 😊
No spends planned today, I always lay low the day after treatment. They pump you so full of random drugs, you feel a bit spaced out and tire easily 🥴
I’ll do the food shop, keep on top of the washing and then do a bit of TV watching. If I feel up to it, I’ll go for a walk. The library books I reserved are ready and that would be a gentle 40 minute round trip with a (spend free!) mooch around town as a midway break

Funny you should say that Liselle, while I was at the library I bumped into a friend and she treated me to coffee and cake, which was sweet of her 😋
She then insisted on dropping me home as apparently I looked pale. Chemo has made me a bit anaemic, but she wouldn’t believe me when I said I was completely fine 😂DFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)

Chill day today, still feeling pretty wiped out from Wednesday’s treatment. Did some ironing and went for an hour’s walk with DH during his lunch break. Then came home and had a cheeky nap 😴
Nothing spent again today. Since being back on this board, I’ve done 2 online food shops and managed to get them both in under £200. We were averaging £250 before, so if I can continue that it’ll be great. I think £200 for 7 of us plus 2 greedy cats is pretty good 😊
