Can someone please summarise the differences between Sky Signature and NOW TV ?
The previous post doesn't really help]]
Does Discovery+ run on NOW TV ?

Here's their breakdown of the charges
Sky Stream Package
- Sky Ultimate TV (Sky Entertainment with Netflix – with ads) - £35.00
- Sky Sports Complete, including Sky Sports+ £33.00
- HBO Max (with ads) and Disney+ (with ads) Free
- Whole Home (additional room) £15.00
- Monthly cost: £83.00 Contract length: 24 months
Seems that any discount is 0% - with full price being charged for everything - so my 23 years VIP status counts for ziltch !

All you do is complain about Sky and yet you've been with them for 23 years straight, very odd.

Loyalty to companies rarely results in discounts.
You could have a look at the NOWTV website to see what they offer compared to what you currently receive.
Things that are different: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
That's because I do really like their user friendly product - but they are now pricing themselves out of Mouldys market……the first 10 years (when Sky were a purely UK owned and run company) I didn't pay more than £30 per month - but recently, with US ownership, the price has rocketed and enough is enough (even more so with Priority Customers hijacking my account)

I had Sky TV in 1988 so it’s been around a long time , and I paid for the set top box , dish and installation, even when Sky Digital came along , I paid for the equipment.
£30 (as you mention that amount) in 1988 terms is around £104 today (allowing for inflation etc) admittedly the full Sky TV package including sport and movies wasn’t £30 in the late 80’s to 1990’s , but it was around £20 by the time the EPL was exclusive on Sky 1992, so your claim it’s recent American ownership that has increased prices recently beyond what was necessary ( Sky was owned by Rupert Murdock previously hardly a anti capitalist) doesn’t particularly stack up , arguably £83 today is less than the £20 to £30 was back then (once adjusted for inflation) and you do get far more ‘product’ ….having said that , don’t think I’m an advocate for Sky , I think anyone would be out of their mind to pay that amount of money for TV , when Sky customers are also inundated with advertisements, but in truth there never was a Sky golden age for value .

Yep, the old "I used to pay 1s and 6d for a pint in the 60's" argument has never made any sense.

£30 in 2002 is now £57.11 - which is considerably less than I am paying in 2026 !

You must have been drinking in the saloon bar not the public bar to pay as much as 1s/6d for a pint ! 🤣
