Also!!! I've finally changed the bedroom lightbulb! It's been temperamental for about a year and went completely about 3 months ago. I even had to go to a shop and remember what kind I needed, and put it in, and put the cover back on and screw it in place!! That is a mammoth set of tasks in a working day, the day after a works do with free drinks!!! 😄

Yesterday I decluttered a snail nursery from the salad plants, and paid the half yearly water bill.

I've set up the irrigation system for the veg plot. I need to sort out a cover for the pump and controller as they're not waterproof (I think they're intended for greenhouse/polytunnel use, but they also sell them as ideal for allotments). I also need to tweak the zones a bit - probably cut down to one zone for now (I may be able to use the other one to water a border or two) and add in some sprinkler hose for the fruit bushes.
I've put lots of things I need to do onto post it notes and stuck them on the kitchen wall. So far only one task is actually complete, but you never know…
Lots of stuff to plant, and more irrigation to sort out, plus fruit to pick. All to be done over the next few days.

And having said I hadn't completed much I decided to sort out my house insurance. So that's paid and the online account set up. I also took off one of the extras - emergency cover for electrics/plumbing etc as I realised I don't/wouldn't use it - I'd just call someone local. So I'll move a post it note from the 'things to do' bit of the wall to the 'done' bit :)

Trying to sort transport to and from the airport for our holiday next week. We've a friend that might drive us there and pick us up too but I doubt we'd all fit in his tiny car.
And I still keep looking at the plants I bought that haven't yet made it into the borders or pots. Everytime I start doing things my back pings - I don't want to be suffering while away. And I do intend to have a massage there - it's always a treat on holiday.

I finally got round to ordering a new phone - the speaker on mine has been crap for ages, and people haven't been able to hear me properly for weeks now. Also ordered a case and screen protector too.
Pretty sure I did something else I'd been putting off too but I can't remember what it was! 😂

I put together the parasol I bought (for the dog) a few weeks ago so she can spend some time out the garden with us. It is absolutely massive!!

Got greenhouse planting done and set up irrigation (including priming the pump). I need to check all the drippers tomorrow as I don't think they're all working so need to work out why.
Did some mowing.
Potted up 20 lavender plugs (need to work out where to put them so they don't die while I'm away).
Gave dog and fluffiest cat a good brush - got more hair off the cat than the dog!
Bought rechargeable batteries for the tap timer - need to get drippers set up tomorrow.
Garden is starting to look good - although I'm sad that a magnolia that I thought had recovered after being moved seems to have keeled over. Not sure whether it was the wind or something else.
Amazon have let me down with my emergency 12V cold box purchase which was due to arrive today - no email communication, but tracking shows that it has been returned to the seller. Can't really justify buying another one while they have my money for the one that hasn't turned up - particularly if it is going to turn up and then I'll have two. Plus I'm not sure I have time to go out and get one.
Dog lick mat/kong production line underway. Need to cook another BNS tomorrow so I have enough for our holiday. Not looking forward to travelling south on Tuesday and Thursday - I'm hoping that as it's not school holidays that travelling after morning rush hour will avoid the worst of the traffic. And I'm going to have to take the curfew off the catflap while I'm away as I don't want the cats to get stuck in the house at night if it's getting too hot.
