I'm missing 4 shops!
A*di -2 shops, £14.75 and £16.
Local convenience shop - £4.14
Anti-waste, Shop Zero - £23 on Saturday.
This brings me to £108.58, £41.42 remaining from £150 budget. I would like to say I'm doing well, but unfortunately, I have had more than expected expenses in other budgets so could do without too much of a top-up.
I also had some leftover cold cuts from work which will go into salads and sandwiches.
Time to do a meal plan then.
Breakfasts - crumpets/toast/ porridge - if we feel like eating.
Lunches - salads with chicken, beef, tinned fish, or crusty rolls.
Snacks - boiled eggs, nectarines, apples
Dinners - Monday: salmon, basmati rice, tender stem broccoli.
Tuesday - sausage and broccoli pasta.
Sausage & broccoli pasta with cheese recipe | Good Food
Wednesday - prawn stir fry and rice
Thursday - beetroot biryani.
Cheat’s beetroot biriyani recipe | Good Food
Friday - cod, peas and wedges
Saturday - chicken salad

@otb666 so sorry to hear about your accident and your much loved car, so long as you are okay. Sending hugs 🤗
Back from our lovely holiday now, had a great time and spent £181.41 which considering that is 8 meals out and a trip to the local butcher’s wasn’t bad
My total to date this month is £377.28
In theory no more spends this month

£17.95 on fruit and veg, herbs and washing up liquid. My daughter did an UberEats on my behalf as she has Uber one and they also offer discounted fruit on a Monday. I have deleted Just C r @ p after the last debacle of no refund for missing goods.
£2.12 at Tesco, on wraps tomatoes and hand wash.
£2 from my own stores. Hellman's vegan mayo.
£22.07 + £6.90 below: £28.97
Also, Amazon bits which I forgot to skip and was too late. Three are bulk buys for next month, as I won't open it yet (24 cans of Pepsi), and two tins of Jackfruit. I've even kept the box sealed Worked out at 25p a can on offer.
I need to add one of the 24 packs, but don't know the exact price of it. So will add once I've had a look. I need to add £6.90 per 24 pack of Pepsi, and £2.25 for the Jackfruit.(£9.15)
I'm teetering very close to the wrong side of the budget. With just under three weeks to go. Have everything in at the moment apart from plant based butter for baking.I will try and get that next Fri when I go to my appointment. I'm going to try and go on the bus afterwards to a place that's got Asd@ and F/Foods. It's £1 at Asd@ at the mo.

No further spends to report, but I'm just passing through to say how much I really enjoy people posting links to recipes they are using as it always provides some excellent inspiration. I am definitely going to be trying the beetroot biriyani @wishus, and will be looking out for fresh beetroot at the community fridge on Wednesday. They often have some and I usually ignore it (I have made borscht and beetroot risotto before, but it's great to have new ideas - thank you!)

@C_J beetroot is nice, peeled and grated raw into coleslaw (shop-bought, which is often too creamy/slimy for our liking and needs some crisping up, or HM) or just in a salad

Had to go to T*sco today because DH was complaining about the meal plan. I agreed with him to be honest because it’s just too hot to have the meals that I had planned. I nipped around the shop and only bought what was on my list apart from some Y/S bacon. I couldn’t get everything that I wanted because the fridges in T*sco had given up due to the heat!! I know how they feel! 😂
I should be ok until tomorrow evening when I’ve got a Sainsbugs delivery.

Good evening GC'rs
£3.41 spent on food today (I have updated my siggie). I went to our little MrL (was the right side of town), but there was nothing doing, no green boxes, and no YS'd things that I needed. I then went to fArmf00ds, and spent £2.54 on; 3x tinned red kidney beans, a pack of 6 salad tomatoes (79p), and a jar of L10yd Gr0s$man's red pesto (75p). I then popped into bee&Em to get some of the Brewwoof spicy burger seasoning - which used to be 4 for £1. It's now 29p a sachet ☹️ so I bought 3, 87p spent.

Good Morning GC'rs
Did my weekly shop this morning. Rather think everyone else had the same idea, as both MrL and MrS were busy.
I used some of my 30% and 15% off coupons in the MrL app today. Not all of them, and they didn't have any pumpkin seeds in stock, so I couldn't use that one. I noticed they finally have brazil nuts back in stock, but that these are now £2.99 a bag 😱 so they got left on the shelf. I also noted, that despite having a 15% voucher, halloumi is now £1.99 a block - so that stayed where it was too, I got greek style salad cheese instead. In total I spent £17.82 in MrL. No green boxes today.
I then went to MrS. No waste boxes with them either. I stuck pretty much to my list, but I did get some mAld0n smoked sea salt, as I'd been thinking about salad seasoning ingredients, and it was on SEL n*ctar price, for £1.70, so that has been allocated to the bulk fund, as it won't be used in a week/month. I am annoyed that I bought courgettes - NP showing on the SEL as £1.15, but they went through as £1.45 proper price! (and yes, I did scan my n*ctar card, as several other things went through with a NP/YNP discount), I know they were £1.15 NP, as I checked them against the net of Stam. St. courgettes that were £2.50 for a kilo net. This pack was 500g - so I was working out in my mind that those courgettes were better value than the Stam. st net. Grrr. And I'm not traipsing back to the store to check the price/get a refund, it's too hot and it'd cost more in petrol than I was overcharged ☹️ EDIT - I forgot to note that I spent £22.40 in total in Sainsbugs.
I've just come under budget, and have £1.26 to last until next Tuesday, but I didn't get much actual "food" for my money today - mind, as you all know, I bought fruit and veg, and it ain't cheap. No YS on anything I wanted to buy
