Cant access a site page???

    Nice of you to trouble, even if it does mean 'Slumming' :)

    I was able to access the site till about 2-3 days ago. didn't trouble too much as I thought that the site was going through another change or something,

    TBH this sounds pretty odd... I don't think anyone else is having trouble getting on. I'll go ask my admin if he can suggest anything :)

    Right Oh Chaps SORTED IT!!

    Installed spybot and found a program : Zlob.DNSchanger

    Removed this, rebooted and hey presto! Hotukdeals

    I don't know how the hell it was blocking hotukdeals and no others umnik2.gif

    Can you try that if you don't mind please?


    P.S. Even if someone was banned - you get a message saying why.

    Really simple look at the line >IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 194.72.0.114
    its differnet to >IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
    you are on different networks so neither can see each other

    AND DHCP is OFF!!!!!

    Totally screwed up how did that happen

    Well I ran spybot a few days back. Anyway, ran it again and it didn't find that file so did a search for it and nothing.

    Tried to connect yet again but no go.

    Must admit, Emma, that I didn't imagine I would be locked out with no explanation.

    Ho Hum, back to the drawing board, I guess.

    Hope I'm not missing TOO much. beginning to pine now.:)

    WHat I did was try to follow your advice and entered YOUR IP address where it looked like you were suggesting.

    Obviously got that wrong but rebooted hoping to reset the settings and as you see it didn't.

    Hasn't made ANYdifference to what i can connect to though. What is DHCP and how do I turn it back on and what does it do?

    Well rizla, it is definitely something on your end... we haven't locked members out on purpose!! I'll see if anyone can suggest anything else...
