Cant access a site page???

Hi all.

Right, I have cleared my cache and all internet cookies/history Etc but there is a site that is working for everyone else but me.

What is likely to be stopping me from getting on the site?

I get the usual screen which you get when a site is down or when you have misspelled the site name but I haven't. any clues?

anyone?

    Might depend on the site, have you tried different browsers? Site could be down or blocking your IP, problem with your ISP or your router, or you could have a browser hijack, spyware....

    Tried that - not listed there.

    The site is http://www.hotukdeals.com BTW Nothing dodgy though they have been having a few probs lately and I wondered if it was something that they have done.

    Have tried it with firefox and Opera too.

    Yep. Clicked on that and the same thing happens

    If I start 'puter in safe mode will that bypass all settings/progs that migh be preventing me from acessing site.

    (Hate doing that as I have to re arrange all of the desktop icons again)

    Goto a command prompt and ping them:

    Start/Run/ type in ping then hotukdeals.com

    <command prompt> ping hotukdeals.com
    That will give you a result reply from 85.13.221.162
    Let me know what happens.

    The address reported same as.

    Before I install that, how will it help?

    Will that solve the problem, Expresso, or is this something to use in the future to PREVENT this sort of thing from happening?

    Working here but looks broken.

    Lets hope they are bringing back the old look.

    I think they did ban a few people for complaining about the new layout, mind you I did too but they went over the top and were directing people to other sites.
